Kairi only gained, what, 8 that time? Take what you can get, I guess, but Claire's gotta cut into the lead soon, often, and preferably big-time if she's goin' to keep this a match all day. --- Z1mZum performed a hit and run on me in the Guru Contest. It still hurts to be rear-ended like that..... |

I wouldn't go that far. We've yet to determine how close Claire
actually is to her 2k2 value. Heck, for all we know she could be below
Jill's 2k4 value. Oh, I'd bet on it. We won't really know until next round for sure, but the main reason I picked Claire here is because I figured people wouldn't care about Kairi. Not because I thought Claire was anything near her 2002 value. Bah, Kairi's not killing Claire enough for my prediction. This 'middle
ground' stuff angers me. Either blow her out or give her a close match,

Oh can it, Ulti, as if you're any better. When was the last time I've even come close to doing that other than GTA/Warcraft? Seriously. You have no idea how sick I am of seeing people speaking in absolutes about in-the-air matches. GTA had a higher % and a bigger lead at this point over Warcraft. it shouldn't matter.. unless Claire starts cutting at the lead bigtime,
it's very unlikely Claire will win considering KH's traditionally
strong day vote. RE is probably a night vote kind of game, too. unless
this is still the board vote / bracket vote and Claire starts tearing

Before we go thinking claire can come back maybe we should wait for her
to win an update. I mean slowing the gains kairi is making helps, but

This match was heavily debated and considered to be up in the air by
many people (y'know, not counting people who show up after the fact and
proclaim how obvious one pick was <_<). But I never really
thought that these two being fodder was even...in question. Same thing
for Master Hand/Kuja -- what was with the nutjobs who were thinking MH
was going to be a low midcarder after that match? No offense to the nutjobs, of course. --- Commit it to memory. |

I think the warcraft rallying would have happened in just as much force
regardless of the day. Being the time-sinks that mmo's are, people
often wait a long time between raids, in which I'd imagine they spend

I don't know why people thought Kairi would be THAT weak. Even Ansem
has some strength(Even if he did struggle with CATS) and I'm certain

I don't know why people thought Kairi would be THAT weak. Even Ansem
has some strength(Even if he did struggle with CATS) and I'm certain
that KH fans love Kairi a lot more than Ansem. I agree. I'm no KH expert, but from what I can gather ansem is about as well liked by the KH fanbase as dagoth ur is by morrowind fans. Well yeah, Janus, that's why people were calling it after 15 minutes.
This time of day is Claire's only chance of pulling a win. She'll do
nothing but lose ground all day long. So if she can't lead now, she

I don't know, I started replaying RE2 a few months ago and it seemed
horribly dated, and it had aged about as well as the original
castlevania. After playing RE4 it just seems so inferior in gameplay I
can't see anything even coming close to touching re4 in terms of re

I don't see how anyone can actually convince themselves PW actually has a decent
chance in that match without taking a brick to their own head. If he
wins it'd be a miracle, and it'd prove GFNW as well as put the punk
lower than he's ever been. Yep, losing to PW would put GF well under 11% --- If you mark someone for flaming/trolling, maybe you deserved it. |

The problem is, if you or your game doesn't leave a BIG impression on
people (think Crono, Ryu, that kind of thing), recency is a much bigger
factor than most imagine. After Claire gets that role in the new RE Wii
game, would I even consider Kairi over her? HELL no. --- Commit it to memory. |

The reasoning for picking Claire was that she got 45% on Tidus before the Square boost, and when Tidus-hate was at it's peak. I'd hardly call that logical >_> Though if Kairi does better than 57% on Rikku, I'll honestly be surprised.
