laire is the character in 2 of the Resident Evil games Er... Leon and Ada were both HUGE in RE2 though. Claire did pwn it up in CVX, though. God I love RE. --- ExThaNemesis? More like ExThOWNEDNemesis! ND>PSU What a blowout; the Lions must suck, but thats the way ExTha likes it. |

Meh, I don't think Daisy gets it unless Peach destroys her and
Peach ends up being horribly weak. I have a feeling people will still
vote for Daisy for whatever odd reason. Just to be defiant or make a
joke out of it. Even if I think Peach will have decent strength, I

Alright, please let me explain the difference between me and the whiners. I loved BGaE. I love Jade's character. However, that doesn't stop me from calling RE4 overrated (I actually like it better), or saying that Ada is a lame character (which I think she isn't). I like Jade more than Ada, and due to Jade's obscurity, I prefer to be vocal about my appreciation for her. It doesn't make me dislike RE or Ada any less. However, it does feel odd to be on the losing side for once. --- If the universe implodes, this space belongs to NClark128. If the law wins, I win! September 22nd! Amy Rose > KOS-MOS |

Er... Leon and Ada were both HUGE in RE2 though. Leon's just the character you use after Claire. Claire, like Jill, is vastly preferred to her male counterpart for being able to blow through her game more efficiently and being the Master of Unlocking. As for Ada...she's the side character in Leon's story. Which is worse. Claire is hands down the most popular character from RE2. This isn't even a debate. --- Commit it to memory. |

Yeah, I remember I did go straight for
Disc 2 when I got my hands on Resident Evil 2. At least Leon doesn't
have the Chris syndrome that bad. I seriously forget that Chris is even
in the first Resident Evil. Hell, I have to think about whether or not

Not related, but one thing I'll never get is this 'winning the day vote' stuff. getting your ass whipped less during the day than you did at night doesn't mean you've won anything. It means there was a point in the match when you got your ass whipped less. "Winning" a demographic means that you're getting more than 50% of the vote during such. To completely ignore the argument, it's because it's easier. It's the same thing as saying rSFF -- it's still Same Fanbase Factor, but the 'r' makes it easier to understand the weaker character is getting the good end of it. Likewise, 'winning' the day vote is the easier thing to say rather than having to explain shifts in demographics about getting more or less beaten with Master Chief every time he's in a match... --- Commit it to memory. |

Except Master Chief actually WINS day votes. Street Fighter won the evening vote against RE last year. MC wins day votes, but he doesn't win them all. Two of his last three
losses he got his ass kicked with the day vote if you're measuring
solely by votes. Kingdom Hearts didn't "win" the day vote by your terminology in MG/KH, but it sure as hell did against Castlevania and Harvest Moon. It's just easier to put it that way, and it's not like it really confuses anyone. --- Commit it to memory. |

such. It's because only using it when a character gets over 50% is a pretty useless defintion and any situation it is useful in is covered by the other defintion. Wow, Ada's doing quite a bit better than I expected, especially after
seeing Wesker perform so miserably last year. It's reassuring to see,
considering how far I have Jill and Claire advancing, even if it might

Wesker may be the most badass and important character in all of RE, but
as far as what matters in contest strength...he's a nobody. He's the
villain of RE1 (where he's not even seen that much). After that, he's
merely referenced until when he becomes a sorta-villain in RE: CV. And
he has a bit of screentime in RE0. As for playable roles, he has RE: CVX's bonus stage (where he only has the knife until the very end), and RE4 Mercenaries, where he's the last person to be unlocked. He's badass there, but the amount of people that know it to begin with is... You never fight him in a boss battle, never get a satisfying confrontation, and he's easily forgettable. Sure, he's behind everything, but if you know that much about him you weren't going to vote against him in the first place. --- Commit it to memory. |

No Sonic picks, and only two Mega Man for champions. Crono, Snake, and
Samus seem more or less even, but I'm too lazy to count. Bonus points

This is probably a weird question, but in response to Karma Hunter's comments on Wesker: *Possible Spoilers* Was Wesker the only entrant in the villain contest who you never fight as part of the main game? I'm pretty sure you don't fight CATS. The last part of GTA: SA I think
qualifies as enough of a 'boss fight' to put Tenpenny into the other
