That's insane. Link was drawing in 87% of the vote against CATS at
this time. Link ended with 87.83%. We're 40 minutes into the match,

I'd be very content seeing Samus hit 85% (even that seems a bit out of
reach now, honestly). Scoring in the mid-80's against a character who

She's pulling in about 81% updates (past two) right now. You have to figure that Nidoran F isn't
going to hold up at all during the day; it's cleary already surpassed
that "joke" part and loses more percentage per update as a result.

I'm curious about both how disloyal Metroid fans are and how loyal
Pokemon fans are with this match...we've seen Samus/Metroid falter in
various SFF matches, we don't know of any particular time where she certainly
SFF'd the opponent, we saw Pokemon pull a hell of a shock this summer,
we saw the two Pokemon games do fairly well for themselves in the Top
100 List (including Pokemon Red behing the highest handheld-only title
on the list), we see Samus letting Nidoran F look like she could be as
strong as strong as Conker right now... ...the logic ain't perfect, but there is reason to suspect. --- Z1mZum performed a hit and run on me in the Guru Contest. It still hurts to be rear-ended like that..... |

This match is quite a bit ahead of where Zelda/Civilization was at this
time...so, either there's a fair bit of rallying/stuffing going on for
Nidoran F, or the prospects for votals could be brighter than I thought. lol projections 45 minutes into the match --- Commit it to memory. |

Nidoran F is rSFFing Samus. Haha... I could see that. All I know is I
don't care where Samus ends up, no way I take Nidoran F to beat Lara

While Nidoran F will fall off during the day, it won't be as much as
you think. Keep in mind the shifted vote start time compared to Link vs
CATS. Samus will have to fight for every last vote if she wants to hit
85%. I would expect Nidoran F to hold up better here than CATS would and fall off far more the further we get away from this time than CATS would. Samus will quite easily be pulling in big updates by the time morning comes and throughout the rest of the day. Anywhere in the mid-80s is perfectly fine all things considered. What does the shifted vote start have to do with anything, when the

to mention how the Pokemon fanbase seems to, oddly enough, be the more
"hardcore" one and is more likely to be stronger at night. It's leveled off since then. Samus has be drawing almost exactly 80% of the incoming votes for the last half an hour. Earlier start also means higher starting vote total which dilutes joke votes. This voting hour is also closer to the afternoon vote time wise so it should be slightly more similar to the afternoon vote than the night vote.
