I would hope Kairi gets at least 47% if she wins decisively. >_> Though even what you probably meant is a de~*st*~ruction, which may as well be a synonym for pummeling. 2k2 value withstood the test of time, voter shifts, and higher votals. I don't think many (if any) of us are actually thinking that. It's a shame there isn't a "who do you think will win the Villain
contest?" poll, so we could try and compare the two obvious winner's
performances. To me, it looks like Samus, Tifa, and Zelda are all doing
pretty good...at the expense of Yuna, who's doing horribly. Makes me a
little happier about Chun-Li > Yuna, I'll admit, though not too

And this is why Tifa should have been setup against the Zelda/Aeris
winner. *Sigh* Silly Ceej thinking he can bait a mass amount of casual

Considering that Chun-Li is in the "One of the lower seeds" option,
which has less than Yuna and includes 28 characters, there's no reason
for that to make you feel better. That's a terrible argument - Chun-Li doesn't need to win the main bracket to beat Yuna (though doing so obviously entails having beaten Yuna). --- For the sake of simplicity, I'm going to refer to Gordon Freeman versus Tanner as Schrodinger's Match. -Phoenix Flattener |

She's going to flop just like Terra and Kerrigan, only it'll be a bit less surprising this time. Nice dominating by Samus. Not even 50% is impressive? Consensus is that KH2 was multiple times better than KH1, and was
probably the reason it beat Castlevania in BSE. I have a feeling that
Kairi won't be nearly as disappointing as Ansem. Not to mention that the KH fanbase is second only to the Sonic fanbase in terms of blind loyalty. TuRtLe ~~~ Turtle on his laptop |

I really don't think Kairi would be that much stronger than Ansem, if it all.... I mean, at least you FIGHT Ansem at some point... Kairi is just............ there.... I mean, I like her as a character and everything, I guess, but she doesn't do anything game wise.... unlike Ansem. *KH2 Spoilers* Plus......... While it would be stupid to think Claire is anywhere near her 2k2
value, even if extrapolated through 2k4 Tidus, it would also be stupid
to think that nobody cares about her either. Especially since the
Resident Evil series itself is more popular now than it was in 2002,

Personally, I think it's very reasonable to assume that Claire is near
Jill in strength. She could be a bit higher or a bit lower (probably
the latter). The thought of taking Kairi over Jill just seems

As for Claire > Kairi, my thought process was this: Nemesis scored 45% on Ocelot. Ocelot may be weak but he isn't terrible. Now I don't know much about RE or its fanbase, but I can't see Clarie being significantly weaker than Nemesis nor would I expect Kairi to pickup 45% on Ocelot. --- Chun-Li's Road to the Female Final Four: vs Kasumi (Septemeber 26th) |

you guys have to remember that the Villain Contest was before KH2. in
the first KH, Ansem pretty much sucked. he sucked A LOT. all he really
did was fly around yelling, "DARKNESS!!!" here, this is a direct Ansem quote from KH: "All worlds begin in DARKNESS, and all so end. The heart is no different. DARKNESS sprouts within it, grows, consumes it. Such is its nature. In the end, every heart returns to the DARKNESS whence it came. You see, DARKNESS is the heart's true essence." you see, it is not an exaggeration. Ansem was a pretty worthless villain. he improved significantly in KH2 due to various spoilers, but almost noone cared for him or about him in the first KH. i am fully convinced that Ansem would do much better now that he is a much better character. so, yeah, after the first KH, i would have definitely taken Kairi over Ansem because she was much more likable. now, i'm not so sure, but she should at least be able to take down Claire. --- i have officially been Z1mZum'D in the guru contest. I actually thought Ansem was a perfectly fine villain until I came here
and saw everyone making fun of darkness. He had a few quality lines
throughout the game, such as, "One who knows nothing can understand
nothing." Things like that; I thought he was pretty cool at least. --- Revenge is a dish best served by Z1mZum in the 2k6 Series Guru Contest. |
