Obviously precedent isnt invincble, but you have no argument for anti NN trends. The weakest members of the NN are Snake and Sonic. Snake is getting MGS4, and SSB, which is a massive boost. Sonic is ps3 boost. Magus was once thought to be the best potential NN buster. Sonic could totally have a period where he decreases slightly enough to
lose to someone like Ganon/Vincent/Zero/Kirby though, considering the

nd to boot, the perso0n you're taking to break the noble nine is
someone who got extrapolated alongside Tidus and Magus, last year's 2
biggest flops. Unlike Magus and Tidus, Ganon has had plenty of reason to increase since 2003 whereas those two have had exactly no reason to do so. Magus may have been overrated for years now, but Ganon is not anywhere near those two anymore. Umm, your argument for the break up of the noble 9 is the x-stats? It's actually a little game called "The Legend of Zelda : Twilight Princess." Sonic is ps3 boost. Hype for a Sonic game is practically non-existent, so it wouldn't help him based off of that. I haven't looked at x-stats at all this year. Pretty much have just
gone with my gut on just about everything... and I feel really good

Also, I think Nintendo fans are going to have split allegiances here. old school fans prefer CT over Super Metroid. Say what? CT SNES isn't what gives CT most of its strength. That comes from mass emulation and FFC. Magus's descent was a surprise, but a noble niner falling would be way way more shocking. No, it wouldn't. You know what I just realized? In the female portion of the bracket
it's possible for every single higher seed to win. That rather disturbs

Or you just don't know what's gone on in the past, I'm guessing both. Solid Snake failed to break 52% on Frog of all people in 2K4, MOTHER ****ING FROG. His point was if Zero/Vincent/Bowser/Ganon or somebody else was in Frog's place in 2K4, they could and or would have defeated Solid Snake, completely putting your bs "precedent argument" to shame. |

Has anyone else considered the possibility that Samus might not do as
well because many voters haven't realized Samus is a female yet? When
they think of a female battle, they might think who is the better
female rather than who seems cooler. Not that this would be important enough to sway any matches whatsoever, but if Samus slightly "underperforms" in a few of her matches, that might explain it. === Most signatures are only funny because they leech of off the wittiness of others. I, however, am above that... Yup. |

I think Ganondorf is a little overrated from last year after seeing
everything Magus' 4-pack releated take a hard dive, but then again it
would be hard to prove this year. There is absolutely, positively no reason to believe that Ganon is overrated at all. It's ridiculous to think that Ganon is still attached to the four pack in such a fashion that he deserves to be closer to them. Ganon would kill Magus if they were to face right now. Ganon has had three years since 2003 to improve himself -- and he has. If anything, Ganon is underrated in those stats. The idea that Samus cannot SFF anything is about as absurd as thinking Mega Man can SFF anything from Nintendo. You're not getting me to buy for a second that Ganon is closer to Magus than the 2005 stats depict. And it's insane to think that he's that far away from Bowser after doing a percent better on him in the villains contest, putting up a comparable performance against Diablo that Sonic did, and putting up 40%+ on Samus -- Sonic managed a whopping 42% in the previous year. I've never even known of an objection post to get modded... I had one modded when I used it to post a score in an NCAA Games Contest match. Modded for being on topic with a fad! What a crazy world! camping for almost a week near Lake Superior with no electricity makes
a man smelly and tired. fortunately, i did have Super Robot Taisen
along, which is pretty dang cool. i charged my GBA SP and DS before the
trip and brought along my old-fashioned GBA with several batteries. by
the time i left, i was down to my last set of AA's. >_> did see some cool waterfalls and other nifty scenery, though. ^_^ anyways, i've seen quite a bit of talk about the Battle Royale in the last topic, but noone has answered this: is there any guarantee that we will even get match pics for the duration of the Battle Royale? how is Ceej even going to make a match pic that clearly identifies all six characters? i don't really think it would matter much, but i could see not having a picture affect Crono's performance. Crono is easily the least recognizable member of the Noble Nine (to your average gamer). and he does seem to get at least some portion of his popularity from his look. not having his picture there could hurt him a little bit; enough to knock him out before Samus or at least knock him out before Cloud and Sephiroth despite any FF7 fan-base split between those two. i almost hope the Battle Royale DOESN't have match pics, just to see if any of those massively popular characters do perform differently without their pictures up. --- i have officially been Z1mZum'D in the guru contest.
