Hmmm...I was just thinking about this...Let's try gauging Ganondorf off of Auron, shall we? Despite supposedly being behind SFF all three years he has been in the contest, Auron's stat values are relatively similar (ranging from 28.73 in 2003 to 30.88 in 2005). In 2003, Auron got 64.47% on Tails, but was supposedly SFF'd by Cloud. If we factor in the 2004 value for Tails, Auron's value is around 32.75% on BL, almost exactly equal with Dante's 2005 value. If you adjust Ganondorf based on the 54.10% he got on Auron, he moves up to around 35.65% on BL, 0.07% above Vincent's 2005 value. That means he gets 46.30% on Sonic the Hedgehog. This also moves Samus up to 44.20% on BL in 2005 (assuming she didn't SFF him at all), exactly 1% above Mario. In 2004, Auron got 64.85% on Scorpion, but was supposedly SFF'd by Sephiroth. If we factor in the 2003 value for Scorpion, Auron's value is around 35.20% on BL, slightly above Squall 2005. Adjusting Ganondorf based on this puts him at 38.35% on BL, only 0.15% below Sonic 2005. For the record, this means Samus is worth around 47.50% on BL, enough to beat 2005 Mario with 54.53% and to get 48.31% on Sephiroth, and this is assuming she got no SFF on Ganondorf at all. This should probably be considered the most extreme value, although Samus being so close to Sephiroth WOULD line up with the Villains Contest and would give her a little SFF there. And it actually lines up a little bit with his proportion to Bowser in the Villains Contest, though Ganondorf is worth about half a percent more in a direct match in SC2K5. In other words, if you take the Villains Contest completely at face value, this makes the Ganondorf upset look very, very good, as he's already well above Snake and very close to Sonic as is.
