Why did they leave that picture up on there if they're hiding it? That
looks pretty deliberate...but, then again, I dunno the context of how
ya found it and all that. --- Z1mZum performed a hit and run on me in the Guru Contest. It still hurts to be rear-ended like that..... |

By the way, what's wrong with Dante's placement? He probably
underperformed aginst Sonic in 2K4 due to a terrible pic, and DMC3 was
the DMC series' return to glory. No reason why he wouldn't get quite a
boost from it. More like he was overrated in 2k3 thanks to Solid ****. He got, what, 5% from that? The game hadn't even sold that well at the time either. Indeed, but it has certainly sold fairly well at this time. I'd be quite surprised to see Dante under his 2k5 level, regardless of how overrated he was. --- Pity for the guilty is treason to the innocent. |

So... you agree with me? I thought you were saying Vincent is overrated. The rest of his division.... eh, probably. Riku (2005) has a strength of 24.13 against Base Link. For all you Yoshi lovers, I'd like to remind you that Devil May Cry
2 went Greatest Hits since the last contest. Oh yeah, baby. Seriously
though, DMC3 has doubled it's sales since the last contest with the

I think we're going to have these male/female brackets every year from

Doubt it, this is pretty much a one time thing to breathe some life
back into the contest, at least from the casual standpoint. We should

Funny that I should check the stats topic on some Yoshi news. I'm in
the midst of moving in to my dorm/last minute getaway so I haven't been
able to keep up with the past two or three topics, for anyone who's
interested. In other news, I will be trying to run Spread Betting for
those in here who participate (more of you will this contest, wee), but
it might be a little touch and go as I try to settle in to my freshman
year. We'll see how it goes. Anyway, Yoshi will beat Dante, it will be his crowning achievement in contest history. It shall be done. Oh, and just for the sheer point of saying them (and I don't even remember if they were this year or last year) Yoshi has had 2 ds games for what it's worth: Yoshi's Topsy Turvy and Yoshi Touch and Go. Hey, if Phoenix Wright's games can help him....yoshi's will carry him over Dante. --- Revenge is a dish best served by Z1mZum in the 2k6 Series Guru Contest. |

I doubt Yoshi even needs the help, given that he's been behind SFF in the stats every single year.
If Dante isn't overrated, then he scores 44.79% on Bowser last year.
Yoshi scored 1% less on Bowser in an SFF match. Dante needs to hope
that Bowser massively overperformed on Snake if he wants to win that match. Call it bias or whatever, but I think Yoshi would be around Zelda's level if he would ever actually get into the stats without being SFFd. 52-48 over Dante, bay-bee. ~*ST*~ --- Winner of the Spring 2004 "Best. 52-48 over Dante, bay-bee. That would be amazingly awesome and would make me very happy. I doubt it though, and just in thinking about it for three seconds, they both have matches with Mega Man, but that doesn't necessarily rule out they could be near equals, because of the sff. --- Revenge is a dish best served by Z1mZum in the 2k6 Series Guru Contest. |

Dante's never faced Mega Man. I think the only common opponent they've
ever had was Ryo Hazuki, where Dante barely did better in 2k3 than
Yoshi in 2k4. --- Z1mZum performed a hit and run on me in the Guru Contest. It still hurts to be rear-ended like that..... |

> Bowser. RE4 on the PS2? It sold better than the GC version... still he'd need a 8%+ boost... I don't see it happening, but if Leon was given a different opponent slightly above him in the stats, it would have been awwwwwwwwesome. |

I just can't see Bowser jumping from "unable to beat Snake" to "able to
beat Crono." But with the huge boom in vote totals from 2005 to 2006, I

I'm still finding Zero vs Kirby hard, I mean, Zero did underperform in
all of his matches, though, Hayabusa could have gained and Wesker was
