I can't see that hurting The Boss any more than it hurts Big Boss... I almost forgot why I was even discussing this until I saw this. Then I remembered what my key point is. Big Boss is weak as hell. Any woman accepting a job in which being a whore is part of the job
description isn't getting any respect from me, especially not in video

As for Celes... as I said before, Terra isn't THAT weak. I'm about as big a FFVI fan there is, and I knew
that she was going to be weaker than Kefka. She's still high end fodder
(depending on whether you think Dante is overrated or not). That's
around where I expected her to land, and where I expect Celes to land.
We may be only on the fodder spectrum (something we rarely have to look
at), but high end fodder beats midcard fodder (Where I see the Boss

her character for something other than looks? I liked Eva the entire game until that mother ****ing escort mission. NO ONE WAS LEFT ALIVE IN THE JUNGLES AFTER THAT ****ER. Snake honestly couldn't even move anymore when I finished it, I could see where I had to climb up, and it seriously took me 2 minutes to move one step with him, thanks to Eva ****ing eating more than Fat Albert at KFC. I can't even begin to tell you how ****ing annoying it was moving that goddamn slow, I would have died for sure, but I somehow managed to mowdown every person in that jungle. Well, you can make a case for Celes being weaker than Terra. I see them being about the same. Remember that 3D Terra looks like pure ass. Against the likes of The Boss (who is no Dante in the casual appeal department), Celes will actually look decent which would probably make up the popularity gap between her and Terra. EVA is worse than Rose and Meryl for the sole fact of that escort
mission. She could of been better then both of them without it.

That's decent? And while I would expect The Boss to be weaker than Big Boss, and probably weaker compared to Big Boss than Celes is compared to Terra, I'd expect Big Boss to handle Terra. They're already close going by the stats, and that's with Ganondorf underrated and Terra in the Devil Division. But more importantly, I think stats just aren't going to help *that* much in this match...fodder has the tendency to fluctuate wildly, and we could see something that looks very strange when all this is said and done. I'm tempted to take Kerrigan over Terra for that reason alone... --- Commit it to memory. |

I'm not saying that the Celes pics are great, but they are enough to capture more of the picture than The Boss. Hmmm... I forgot about MGS being 3D! I'm so used to the horrible MGS

Celes will actually look decent which would probably make up the popularity gap between her and Terra. The only way she looks "decent" is if she gets her 3D model. The Amano art, while good considering, is still crap with no appeal to many people. She wouldn't look "decent" at all with it in comparison to The Boss. As for their strength, you also have to take into consideration the fact that Ganondorf is underrated in the stats, which underrates Auron, who underrates Big Boss. You move those guys up and Big Boss is pretty much equal to Terra. You also get into that whole Devil Division being overrated stuff, but I won't bother going there right now. I always believed The Boss would be at least comparable to Big Boss in strength. I think The Boss will have just enough strength to beat out another lame (strength-wise!!) The wonderful adventure through the jungle that Konami felt was entirely necessary to add where EVA needs more food than a bear to keep her stamina up? That was to Draco by the way. And I know that Big Boss is underrated
due to Ganondorf as well as Terra probably being overrated a bit in the
stats. But like you said, we're talking about fodder!
Plus, as I said I don't see The Boss being as strong as Big Boss. So
either way you take it, I see Celes being able to beat The Boss. I'm not trying to convince anybody or anything. I'm just stating my reasoning. I could be wrong and the match might end up being a Virgil/Ghaleon affair or something. EVA's character is fairly decent. Even without her looks, she's fairly cool. It all just depends on how you play it. Frankly, I had been used to
escorting Emma in MGS2, so I tranqued and dragged her through the first
section without even thinking about it. The second part would have been
annoying even without EVA (who makes it considerably worse, but yeah). --- Commit it to memory. |

*MGS3/FFT SPOILERS AHEAD* To me, EVA was like Algus in regards to her actions, except done much better. You can't help but hate her at the end, because the game makes you. Plus, she's not necessarily a whore. Like any woman wouldn't want to sleep with Snake >_> But yeah, the escort mission was bad. At least it wasn't long, and everything on both sides of it was one of the greatest stretches in gaming. --- That... was her final mission. And like a true soldier, she saw it through the end. Oh, I kind of do remember that actually... I don't remember it being tedious or anything though. I view it as a less painful version of Triforce hunting in TWW. Just when you're ready to end the game with the showdown they decide they'll throw in something to make it drag on just a little longer. Mind you, escorting EVA was not as long or as tedious as hunting for Triforce pieces, but it still very much a pain. I suppose it's not too bad considering the reward -- in both cases, too. division, though, since I'm lazy. It can also show what CJayC could've
changed around easily within each division to make it more challenging,
and most seeds are changed by more than two positions.
