Dirge of Cerberus may have been received badly, but it's still a good reason to assume a boost. He also has Advent Children. Of course, I'm still taking Ganon for a multitude of reasons, but I'd be pretty surprised if Vincent doesn't go into the match as the Board 8 favorite. --- Watch and you'll see... someday I'll be... Heck, I'm more scared for Snake against Yoshi than I am of Yoshi losing before he gets to him. That makes me feel a lot better. Dante is no joke though, I'm still worried for him. Plus, Riku's had KHII since then, and even though I didn't particularly care for the roll; he also has that (mostly trivial) yeah, but I'm the higher seed in his favor, too. Vincent really shouldn't be the favorite, I'd say its fifty-fifty, and I'm siding with Ganon. --- Revenge is a dish best served by Z1mZum in the 2k6 Series Guru Contest. |

Bracket Thoughts: Spazer Division - Bleh. The only thing that interests me is to find out how overrated Kairi is. Her Kingdom Hearts pedigree may get her by Claire since Claire hasn't been in the RE spotlight in a while, but it ends at Rikku definitely. Kairi as a two seed? Why do I feel like blaming it on horny teenagers? Limit Division - I enjoy this division for the sole reason of finally figuring out EXACTLY how popular Peach is. Jill and Tifa are excellent challenges for her and a great way to find out if she is absolute fodder or actually pretty strong. Plus we have a direct comparsion to Luigi through Tifa to find out exactly where she stands in the Mario food chain before SFF. Triforce Division - Carmen Sandiego. Nuff said. My life is complete. I wish Ceej had stuck her against Yuna though. Zelda is going to make her look bad. As for the rest of the division... Meh. I'd love to see Amy Rose surprise, but I'm not confident in it. Just waiting for the Zelda/Aeris showdown really... Aeon Division - Wow does this division suck. Yes Ceej, Yuna got a 1-seed. I can't believe that Yuna has a chance to make the Elite 8. Dammit, this division needs some Yuffie or something. Oh well, let's go Chun-Li! It would be GREAT to see The Strongest Woman In the World take the division. Patriot Division - Snake doesn't get challenged at all? After all the talk about setting him up against Vincent/Ganondorf? Plus Ceej managed to waste Squall after all the talk about Squall/Bowser? What the hell? This is probably the worst division of them all. What are we hyped about? Yoshi/Dante? Destiny Division - Sora gets a 1-seed and then is given to Mega Man. Makes sense, but at least give him a challenge before he is sacrificed. What's the point of him getting a 1-seed if he doesn't have to earn it? Why isn't he set up against Ryu? We don't need to see Mega Man/Ryu anyways. We seriously need an amendment to his bracket. When the highlight of a division is Phoenix Wright/Gordon Freeman, that's pretty bad. Blast Division - Blast? Ok... whatever. Shouldn't SNAKE be the 1 seed in this division? Nobody here actually challenges Sonic. But at least Ganondorf/Vincent are threats to Snake. I'm loving that Zero gets to re-establish himself though! I wish he got to face off against Ganon/Vincent as well for an ultimate test. Still pretty good for him. Time Division - Bowser is pretty much wasted in this contest. I don't really mind though since he got his time in the limelight in the last contest. I still would have liked to see him face off against Squall. Otherwise, this division is meh. Oh yeah, and I'm loving the battle royale. I just hope something unexpected actually comes out of it! It would be pretty cool to see someone get booted well before they should have. It took me all of NO seconds to take Zero over Luigi, and I struggled
when taking Kirby over him. Had to, though...but Zero winning wouldn't

That's probably an easy FACT without thinking about the necessary
percentages. Samus is facing double nintendo sff, though for those

Grr, why is Tifa being fed to Samus instead of waiting for Zelda/Aeris?
I like Peach setup up against Jill, but wish she had a tougher first
round draw than a freakin' SFF beatdown. Really suprised Lyndis didn't
make it...I guess Board 8 wasn't enough for her. Ganon/Vincent should had been in Snake's division. Megaman in somebdy else's division. Not a bad bracket, but alot of wasted potential here. I do like the gauntlet at the end though. Anybody think SFF will cause Sephiroth or Mario to dropout at 5th place? --- Waiting for the bracket! |

Well, I love this bracket because so many matches are giving me
headaches, but I also despise it. No Knuckles? No Presea? Sheena in an
unwinnable match? No Zelda/Tifa? At least there's Zelda/Aeris. Also, this bracket won't finish. The universe ends on October 3. Book it. --- That... was her final mission. And like a true soldier, she saw it through the end. ZSB [aX] |

I hate Sora's division so much... so much wasted potential there. I
think swapping its bottom with the bottom half of Snake or Sonic's
division makes it killer. Imagine this: Sora Tingle Kratos (GOW) Ryu (SF) Riku Yoshi Dante Ryu Hayabusa I love it. 4... maybe 5 possible division winners. --- Z1mZum whooped me so bad in the Guru Contest that the next Lopen wannabe is gonna feel it. |

I ended taking Luigi in that match, like I said I would during the off-season. That being a first round match is brutal though. Oh I picked Zero without a moments thought. Luigi impressed and all,
but he's no Zero. He couldn't even beat Tifa. And though it was
probably against a weaker Sonic in 2k3, Zero still outclassed Tifa and Aeris against Sonic. Plus I don't see Luigi going 56/44 on Mega Man. Plus even with Mario/Zero SFF accounted for, Zero still looked stronger than Luigi. You're thinking that Luigi capitalizes more on SFF than Mario? Here's what I posted in another topic. Yeah, I think Phoenix Wright had more support than just Board 8 + Objection to get him the #4 seed. If Nidoran F could only get an 8 seed with Board 8 + LL + being female, and Vincent who has DoC could only get 5, Phoenix Wright had to have more support than we know of to get a #4 seed. I think he may just have legitimite strength after all. |

Battle Royal is giving me a headache, here's what I have so far, but I'm not at all confident. Beginning: Samus, MM, Mario, Seph, Cloud, Link Day 2: MM, Mario, Seph, Cloud, Link (easy so far, Samus behind too much Nintendo SFF) Day 3: Mario, Seph, Cloud, Link (still easy, Mario+Link take away most of MM's votes) Day 4: No clue, I have Mario getting knocked off now, but I seriously have no idea, whoever loses this day determines who wins the contest, if link loses, Mario makes it to the final to lose to Cloud/Seph, if Mario loses Link makes it to the final to win against Cloud/Seph, if Seph loses, then we have another Link/Mario/Square match, which I'd have Link winning, then beating Cloud, if Cloud loses, replace my last statement with Seph being the loser v. Link. I'm concerned about Mario taking too many Nintendo votes from Link, and then Seph/Cloud taking the outside support that Link would normally get versus Mario. Day 5: See Day 4, though right now since I have Mario losing that day I'll have Seph losing Day 6: Cloud v. Link is what I have right now, link wins. --- Z1mZum owned me in the guru contest (by two points!). Damn you Z1mZum! |

I have Zero > Kirby, too, and I think he'll come through. The most
shocking thing for me to get past is still Kirby/Bowser, I still don't

Snake's division is also a ripoff... I wish Sonic's bottom half had
been in there. Zero or Kirby > Snake have legitimate upset cases,
especially considering when they get there it could very well be the

I could never -- EVER -- see Kairi match Claire as she appears in 2k2. That being said...I lean toward Kairi today. And Mega Man/Snake being debatable? I like the thought of it, but unless MM actually took a dive (and he's been rock-solid for four years running) I can't see how Snake wins that. Unless, again, trailers really do help more than games. o.O --- Commit it to memory. |

That kind of support for KH makes me even more sad that Link/Cloud will

Battle Royale Sephiroth Cloud Mario Link Samus(obviously) Sonic/Crono If crono is in Last place is Samus(Triple SFF LOL) Fifth is Crono (TSFF LOL) Fourth is sephiroth (cloud > sephy sff) Third is Mario (link and cloud are stronger + sff) Second is Cloud(lol ZeldaFAQS) However, if sonic is in Last place is still Samus (TSFF) Fifth is Sephy(no tsff for crono) Fourth is Mario(Zelda sff) Third is Sonic(no sff) Second is Cloud what do ya think? --- This life lesson was brought to you by the one and only KingBartz. |

And holy ****. I just read the Battle Royal rules. I figured it would
just be a series of matches where the winner goes on to face the next
