But tolerates him enough to let him get 45% on Mario? That's the one thing that sways me. Shadow may be indirectly weaker, but if he can get Sonic-proxy status on Mario, then I shudder to think what happens to Knuckles. --- Commit it to memory. |

The match looks more like a Megaman/Zero than a Mario/Bowser or a Ganon/Link to me; I'd imagine Shadow doing well for himself. --- z1mzum was the one to fill my dark soul with LIIIIGHHHT! |

I don't plan to. Is there any poll that would indicate whether the majority of the Sonic fanbase was with Sonic back in the Genesis or just joined in the Shadow era? Hm. This bracket forces me to pick Luigi to make it to Sonic...again.
Pretty good overall, though the lack of Magus is disturbing. Pity
Ganondorf/Vincent aren't Snake's 4/5...I'm tempted to Gdorf over Sonic

Since the starting date seems to be on September 12th, this contest
will end on November 19th -- two days after the release of the

Also, AXEL MADE IT!! Heh, go Axel! Beat down Mega Man! :[ So, I say The Boss vs. Celes Chere is the toughest Round 1 match among the females. For a brief analysis, Ocelot lost to Pac-Man, and LSnake's not much stronger. Terra Branford is 18.65% on BL, while Ultros is at about 15.48% on BL, or worth about 33% on Ocelot. Terra appears to more popular than Celes within the FF6 fanbase, too, but I think Celes is quite a bit closer to Terra than she is to Ultros, anyway. I still need to hope that The Boss is well below Ocelot, though (I'm favoring Celes, yes). But, I said all that knowing NOTHING about The Boss. And...Kairi/Claire Redfield...ex....dee....it'll be close, though. --- "Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those. It could be fun! So...what is a party?" "Well, Z1mZum drinks punch and eats CAKE! ..I think." |

I'm not having any more faith in FF6 characters. Terra humiliated
herself beyond what I could expect out of *any* MGS character. The Boss
was an easy pick there for me, and I expected to have her lose first

I think the overall Kingdom Hearts support on this site is amazing for

I thought Yoshi had his matches with EASE. Yoshi > Luigi, Riku isn't
going to boost from Frog's level to his with KH2, and I'd have a tough
time with Dante/Luigi right now. Heck, I'm more scared for Snake against Yoshi than I am of Yoshi losing before he gets to him. --- Commit it to memory. |

Can Vincent beat Ganon? Vincent is certainly capable of beating Ganon, and he has the added benefit of not having to face the King of Evil after Twilight Princess. Added to that, he's had Dirge of Cerberus and Advent Children release since the last contest to help him out...and Ganon has had nothing. Vincent is certainly the favorite, but I'm taking Ganon -- The King of Evil is bringing breaking through that Noble Nine this year, baby!! Will Celes beat The Boss? I have absolutely no faith in FF6 characters to perform well in a contest setting after having seen both Kefka and Terra.
