Those two polls don't prove people like Zelda more than Ganondorf; it
just proves that people like Link way more than Ganondorf. Sure,
Ganondorf leeches, but I think the Zelda fanbase likes Ganondorf's
'badassness' more than Zelda's 'ninjaness' (I know I'm being silly
here.) It's just instinct to me. I just can't picture the majority of

In Zelda vs. Ganondorf, I see the opposite...I think the SFF occurs
within the Zelda fanbase, and since Zelda relies on name-recognition
for votes, she's underneath Ganondorf within her fanbase. So, Ganondorf

I would have to argue that these polls prove Zelda fans don't love
their villain quite as much as FF VII fans love Sephiroth. I really

You do know that doesn't mean that Zelda fans don't care for Ganondorf right? All those polls mean is that most Ganon fans simply like Link better. Statistically, last year required Samus ~= Mario (assuming Samus didn't
SFF Ganon) to make Ganon > Zelda. That's not impossible, but it's a
tough stat...then head-to-head, I think we're seeing that there's a
battle between Zelda and Ganon for preference as 2nd place in the LoZ
series since apparently discussion has led us to believe both are
leeches, so nothing's promised there... ...so let me ask this, because I'm known for bringing it up: does anybody think that SSBM would be the difference-maker in that match? Unlike Bowser (who I pick on when I mention rSFF due to SSBM), Zelda and Ganon have proven to be more of a leech than Bowser and have less reason to actually being liked besides having important roles in the most popular series here (though oftentimes that's reason enough, heh). So, perhaps it would be more likely for them to have fans solely because of SSBM since the series itself doesn't make them even comparable to Link in terms of favor...and if that is the case, Zelda would certainly have the edge, one would think (Ganon's fun though, granted)... ...also, just having the name-sake should get Zelda afew votes. Ganon still wasn't likely SFF'd hard if he was SFF'd at all, and you
still hear claims that Samus >= Mario indirectly from time to time
-- not to mention that last year we actually have statistical proof of

Sora? Hopefully he's in one of those lovely stacked divisions
(Sora/Vincent/Squall/Ganondorf/Bowser type deals), and hopefully Aeris
isn't in Samus' division. It'll be interesting to see where Mega Man

Wow, I figured Sora had a shot at an one seed, but I never thought he'd

Peach and Aeris will probably get 2-seeds. I'm disappointed that Soma
Cruz only got an 8-seed...if we're lucky maybe he can be bumped up a
couple seeds, so he could have a chance. If Toadette isn't among the 7-seeds I think it's safe to say she didn't make it. TINGLE?! PLEASE let him face Ganondorf. Indeed...he should've been against Link, but we might as well make the blowout as large as possible. I'll take Ganondorf with 93% over Tingle. --- "Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those. Sonic's boost from last year that very well could continue on to this
year, Mega Man not getting the one-seed, and Sonic > both Mega Man
and MMX in the Series Contest -- on top of it being a close-ass match

As a side-note, I hope he used some matches from the Four-Pack Of Fun
board -- I know he's aware of the board for sure this contest, and I'm
tempted to think he saw it last contest because of Mega Man/Mario Kart
