But I think this is an overrated factor. Just being in Zelda isn't

For one, the Nidos are very popular Pokemon, so they aren't gonna get
anti-voted. The most diehard Zelda fans still hate Tingle. When voters

Navi would be the weakest character ever because she's always there and she's always annoying. Tingle is at least minor and in the less popular Zeldas, he's not nearly as in your face. You know there's no guarentee that Navi and Epona aren't in this
contest. If Tingle got into the male bracket, Navi and Epona have a
great shot at the female side. Nominations were linked to in the results page for Zelda vs FF. How much effect do you guys think this had on getting Zelda and FF characters into the contest? --- I got pwnt by Z1mZum in the July 2006 Guru Contest. Support Toadette for the Summer 2006 Contest! |

Assuming that those seeds are locked, but their positioning isn't, that gives N-F a 1/4 shot at taking on Samus round 1. Jay didn't get the nominations, he wasn't disallowed... Are you sure? I thought there was this huge uproar about a week ago when someone (Ulti?) let slip that JS wasn't going to be allowed. Granted, Ceej's topic makes it sound like he didn't get the nominations anyway, but it's more in how the bloody spoon Nidoran F counts as a unique character. I don't think anybody has mentioned it yet, but it looks like Crono has
a tough road ahead for another shot at taking on Mario. I know it was
mentioned a lot in 2k5, but this will probably be the first year

I know it was mentioned a lot in 2k5, but this will probably be the first year without a Mario vs Crono battle. I think the whole "rivalry" thing between the two has just about run its course. Crono has only one once in their entire history; he doesn't look to win anytime soon either. I suppose for the whole "tradition" thing it might be an issue, but for an actual match-up, it's not really a big loss. Are you sure? I thought there was this huge uproar about a week ago
when someone (Ulti?) let slip that JS wasn't going to be allowed. There was. Nidoran F and Midgar Zolom were also supposedly banned. However, Nidoran F is currently in the bracket so it seems CJayC changed his mind.
