Just for the record... *looks at the 2k5 SFF Adjusted stats* I'd take... Lloyd Irving and most everyone above him to beat Peach. Ridiculous? I don't really think so... considering if you adjust 2k3 Wario down to 2k4 Shadow, he gets really crappy, and I think that Wario will be more popular than her. I just felt like putting how horribly I expect her to do into perspective. I'm so making pre-contest X-Stats for this contest. Wanted to do it with the series one, but never got around to it. --- Z1mZum whooped me so bad in the Guru Contest that the next Lopen wannabe is gonna feel it. |

but it's not like it's far and away the number 1 reason why people vote for Zelda in a contest. I'd wager it's up there. Wario is about as unlikable as you get, and even if he wasn't, Peach has many more reasons to be stronger. I think Wario's pretty cool, moreso than Peach anyway. And HM has just informed me that Super Princess Peach has sold around 150,000 copies. There is absolutely no chance in hell Peach is as weak as Wario
either in my mind... Wario is about as unlikable as you get, and even
if he wasn't, Peach has many more reasons to be stronger. There is no reason for her to be stronger other than her namesake. People actually do like Wario, regardless of what we may think of him. There is absolutely no reason to think Peach can handle someone that people actually care for. She would have no problem beating out fodder because of who she is, but she'd crumble at the first sight of competition. Unless you think Chun-Li is fodder, then I have no clue on why you think it is a given that she should win. I don't think Peach can beat anyone around Chun-Li's level. She isn't beating Frog, Yuna, Rikku, Riku, or anyone else in that general area. The way some people talk, you'd think Peach would win with ease, which puts her close to Yoshi. That is territory that she cannot even begin to approach. He has every factor Peach does and much more. The only reason people are even considering Peach is because she is in SSBM. Dude, Wario actually has likable traits. He's lovably
greedy. Peach? Generic damsel in distress, that's all. She'll get votes
on recognition, but voter apathy shall own her. I could easily see Peach being in the bottom half of the women's half... and that's sad. I could see her being the next Halo given the right 8 seed. (Ironically, I'd take Cortana to beat her... oh, that would be awesome) --- Z1mZum whooped me so bad in the Guru Contest that the next Lopen wannabe is gonna feel it. |

Zelda would be stronger if the LoZ cast wasn't known to every single

People who have played DMC3 special edition, Are most likely the ones
who already played the original DMC3. So no I dont see him getting

Aside from sucking ass in SSB! People are really starting to overrate the hell out of tiers. Most people don't give a crap about where their favorite character ranks in the tiers. Roy is extremely popular in SSBM and he's nowhere near the top. People here don't even care where their favorites end up in the tiers -- they play with who they want to. It is almost entirely pointless to bring up how good/bad they are unless they are just really bad (Bowser). --- The winner begins with Z1m and ends with Zum... This is the truth! Well obviously I don't see him getting nearly the same degree of boost,
even if it wasn't outdone by the original by that much... but still,
the more DMC you play, the more you like Dante. We don't have to draw new fans, the man can draw 80% on fodder, that's enough fans right there. We just need to strengthen our existing fans. --- Z1mZum whooped me so bad in the Guru Contest that the next Lopen wannabe is gonna feel it. |

I've seen at least 5 people since nominations went up ask if Sheik
was a boy or a girl, not everyone thinks as Sheik and Zelda as one in
the same. Don't read too much into it. Asking if Sheik was male or female was a fad at one point on the SSBM board. Also I've seen people on more than one occation argue that when Zelda transforms into Sheik, she becomes a guy. More than likely a minority, especially considering SSBM (of all things) pretty much establishes them as one and the same. Oddly enough, it's because of SSBM that it's hard for me to think of Sheik and Zelda as the same person. you guys remember what I pegged Dante to be at last year from the DMC3
boost? Yeah, that's right, 33%. I pretty much nailed it. I just

DMC3 sold 700,000 copies. The Special Edition, which is
included in that total, sold somewhere around 200,000. Let's stop using
