As I said last night, before the contest started I had considered the
possibility that SMB > Zelda. It's not wholly unbelievable, and
given the nature of this contest it's deffinitely going to be closer
than it ever has before (except the whole SMB3 > LoZ thing, obv). I
can't not see Zelda fighting tooth and nail w/ SMB in this contest, but

I know that the lowest is Donkey Kong The Game with 50.07%, but I'm pretty sure Magus getting 50.19% against Ganondorf is up there as well as Resident Evil getting 50.2?% against Street Fighte Damn you. And why not: I find NSMB disappointing because the handling and level design were just utter crap to me. For the longest time, I had trouble doings simple things like jumping on blocks in midair or even jumping on goombas. Jumping on an enemy from the side is a complete pain in the ass; the collision detection in this game is far too small compared to others. I'm convinced they shortened by at least one or two frames. Level design is linear as hell, even with a few side paths for star coins and such. The game is very claustrophobic; you may have noticed just how useless the giant mushroom really is. Speaking of which, the new powerups are horrendous. Tiny Mushroom? Blue Shell Mario? Giant Mario that is only tactically useful for about one or two levels in each world? Fire Flowers and Stars are the only things worth using. World 1 is cool for Mario 1 nostalgia, World 8 is cool because it's the only world in the game that's actually good. Boss fights are awesome. my prediction on this match: Zelda jumps out to a big lead, FF regains
the lead at about... 1:30, builds a lead until the morning. Zelda
fights back to tie it with the morning/afternoon vote and Final Fantasy
