This match completely redeems the contest for being otherwise, mainly

OH GOD THE PICTURE Despite what all logic tells me, I would pick Cloud Strife over Super Mario Bros. It's not that I think Characters are stronger than games, quite the opposite. It's just that I think voters, when confronted with a big ass picture of Cloud and the words, "Cloud Strife", would vote for it over SMB. Nothing really to back it up. --- Do not kill. Do not rape. I can't see Zelda doing better than Mario, though. Maybe NintendoFAQs
likes the Mario series better than the Zelda series as a whole. Has

If Final Fantasy can't break 54-55 or so we better be seeing a
Cloud/Sephiroth loaded final match picture. No Tidus or Bartz or Zidane
