I am hated because they dont like my humorous approach or my supposed
arrogance, but if one looks past all that, they will see the truth: I
am a fanboy of certain games like all the rest of us, and a lover of

Other than the Oracle challenge and Ceej's pics, this contest is over for me... The Elite Eight this year were all #1 and #2... The Final Four will be all #1 for the first time I do believe... The only good match left is the final... Zelda/FF...the eternal struggle fought once more here... this will be a fun analysis to write. I don't mind people not talking about this contest, as it's already
been beaten to death, and I really don't see any upsets taking place
from here on out, if they do, hey that's great, and I'll be all for
'em, because I sure as hell
do not want the first perfect bracket to take place in a 32 entrant
contest. Granted I don't even know if we'll ever see a traditional
character battle again after this, so if we do, it won't be as bad.
Once the match nears though, I'll get right back into it, and I'll look
forward to the beginning of the match/see how many foolish perfects

this contest. That exactly the reason why this contest sucks. When Metal Gear vs Kingdom Hearts if one of the more interesting matches, its kinda sad. Too predictable. I freakin perfect right now and even if Zelda wins (which is unlikely) I probably still won't get a prize since I half assed my tiebreaker. Heck choosing Zelda might have been smart since if I choose Final Fantasy there would be 0 chance I get a prize since there's probably like 20 perfect is FF wins. |

Metal Gear won't end with under 58%, but should it somehow fall
underneath, 55% is the absolute lowest it'll go. You can get that 53 -

Yeah. The characters are closer together than the series. So it should
tell you Metal Gear/Kingdom Hearts stands an even better chance of

Professor Ben's Bracketology If there is indeed a cap on male nominations here is the list of non-Clinkerothio, non-vaginal characters of SC2K5 in tiers of 8 according to the SFF-adjusted standings(Hah!). 1-8 Crono Megaman Sonic the Hedgehog Solid Snake Bowser Vincent Valentine Squall Leonhart Kirby 9-16 Ganondorf Dante Knuckles Zero Magus Luigi Auron Master Chief 17-24 Donkey Kong Tidus Ryu Yoshi Leon Kennedy Vivi Sora Frog 25-32 ***Diablo Riku ***Ryu Hayabusa ***Tommy Vercetti Alucard Gordon Freeman ***Kefka ***Pac-Man Next Four Out ***Revolver Ocelot ***Sam Fisher ***Kratos Aurion Ness Other Notable Omissions CATS Shadow the Hedgehog Serge Tails In my estimation, bolded names suffer a chance of missing a 32 man cut, while bolded/starred names are virtually assured of missing the cut. These names either had weak seeds, did poorly last year, didn't do anything big this year, or etc. The only poorly seeded characters I left on as sure fires were Vincent and Knuckles(self explanatory.) While the line for drawing people in/out was arbitrary in the end, I considered Vivi an appropriate line for staying in because he hasn't had anything new, but a nice cameo in KH2 should sustain his level, he only garnered a 4 seed last year and underperformed and did not turn any heads in his match. | Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is a DS game that appears to get the biggest benefit of this nomination rallying. It is one of few DS games that I am willing to buy, too bad Capcom distributed the game in limited quanity and I can't find it anywhere. |
