I can't see RE outdoing Mega Man. FF/MM was a Nintendo/Square match,
every RE game of note except for RE4 would likely get SFFed by FF7. I

When was the first use of the term "votal"? It was thrown around here and there since 2k2. BOLD ASSUMPTION: RE has no real strength, it just got votes in RE/SH because honestly, who the hell has heard of, let alone PLAYED a Shadow Hearts game? This is another case where people on this board think that the habits and opinions of this board are a good representation of what real people think. I told everyone RE's first match win was nothing. But did you all listen? Nope...nope...nope...! O_o An arcade series is not going to beat something like RE4. Just shut up. There is no way FF breaks 80% on Resident Evil, provided we don't get this steaming pile of trash pic again... 71-72% tops. Woot woot another gain! Keep RE in check SF! And FF is gonna pummel RE 77-23 if RE gets there, book it. No way is RE gonna > Mega Man. Actually, that statement about Resident Evil might be true. According to the 2k4 Xstats... Tanner (2004c) VS Donkey Kong (2004c) Tanner has a strength of 3.77. Donkey Kong has a strength of 23.55. Donkey Kong wins with 92.00% of the vote! A win of 68,082 with 81,058 total votes cast. Now, they aren't totally accurate, but a bottom of the barrel character like Tanner would still be held under 10% by Donkey Kong, a mere midcarder who's still nowhere near Snake's level. So Shadow Hearts is gonna end up with like 5% in the Xstats. --- This space reserved for a new sig. |

At this point, I'm amazed Yuri was able to break 10% on Samus. Samus is overrated! SH = 6% means RE gets 24.51% on FF SH = 5% means RE gets 20.24% on FF. SH = 4% means RE gets 16.34% on FF SH = 3.16% means RE gets 12.91% on FF. So RE has to do really bad for SH to fall under unadjusted Tanner on 2k4 Link, the worst possible XS we can come up with. --- Mustache...and green... |

I know I've underestimated SF before, but I still think MK has enough

I'm not saying a word about the Mario RPGs, but unless RE4 did so much
more than we expected, MM is still the #1 Capcom series...and,
depending on how the day-vote goes, it probably ain't unreasonable in
the least to think Mario Kart could give Street Fighter a great fight

I don't see the Mario RPG series of anything of insane worth here.
Sure, SMRPG is strong itself, but Paper Mario and PM2 don't seem to
carry the same clout. Everyone seems to be more down on Mario Kart because of what happened to it against Mega Man...but I've never relinquished the idea that MK got a touch of SFF, and for all we know at the end of this Mega Man could end up the 4th strongest series. --- Do not kill. And for what it's worth, Metroid's lead was 610 against Pokemon at this
time. Castlevania's lead against Kingdom Hearts was 38, and 623 against

If there were actually some concentrated online presence of Street

And if I did my calculations correctly, Mario Kart gets 21.62% on Final Fantasy.
