Lloyd and Ocelot got 2 seeds. Leon Kennedy got a 5 seed. Kerrigan got a
4 seed. Tifa got a 3 seed. Those were the rally characters last year. And yeah, the vote totals are insane. Hmm... thinking about it a bit more, I might take Vincent to beat Sonic
or Snake if they met next contest. He does have DoC hitting the states
in August, and although I think it flopped in Japan, you can never

What I've read about DoC isn't good, but I agree, it will effect a
small boost. Post DoC and with a sprite round, I can see VV pulling it

I'm confident enough that Snake will not have to worry about being beaten by a non-Noble Nine character this year. He is at least constant with the showing at E3. As for Dirge of Cerberus, it wasn't too well received in Japan, but Square Enix is reworking the game to make it better for the American release. They're making many fixes that the Japanese reviewers had a problem with. I'd laugh my ass off if Sonic ends up in Brawl. I know Nintendo
stated that they'll only take "outside" characters who originated on
Nintendo systems, but come on; this one is too huge. Work something

Since updates were compiled, probably. However, Link/Cloud 2003 probably was faster, and maybe Mario/Crono from the same year too. But as far as the current pace goes, it's headed for second place all-time. As has been said earlier, there's no way Link/Cloud's record will hold after this contest is over. --- Mario's not fun btw and only sells on nostalgia. I mean, you're just walking from one side of a level to the other at a tenth of Sonic's speed... -vego |

I guess the only way the final is even close is if LoZ drains the
pre-FF7 Nintendo support. Oh and also the newer stats topic really

I can't see LoZ draining the pre-FF7 support. FF6 got closer to LttP
than OoT got to FF7. Maybe LoZ could SFF FF1, but I really doubt it
(and I know at least one hardcore FF1 fan that will probably be voting

One advantage I can see Zelda having is that the stronger a contest
entity is, the harder it is to get stronger than that. So, the other
FFs can't add as much to FFVII as they should be able to. Of course,
that won't really help Zelda out, but it could make the final match a
little closer than it would be otherwise. --- Pity for the guilty is treason to the innocent. |
