And yet the crew was still split 5-4 in favor of Mario Kart, right?
It was supposed to be just as established as Mega Man and far more
popular...right? I think what ultimately did Mario Kart in is that its viewed as just a Mario side series. I think Melee in two games has done enough to rise above that, and by a bit, too. Haven't read this topic yet, but the closer and closer it come to match time, the more and more I think SSB is going to win. I feel the opposite, but meh. Eh, I'm getting a bit dreary of Sonic's chances too, but that's mainly because I'm weary of Sonic ever pulling an upset ever... ...although, let's say SSB wins and beats Sonic so badly that DQ ends up above DMC. KH did the same thing...lost the first 1/3 of the 24 hour period...then
turned it around during the second 1/3, and then the last 1/3 it pads
