hmm.. it's possible, I suppose. I guess you could say the same thing about CATS, too.

also, it's easy to make your day vote look good when your night vote is so so damn bad.

CATS is a renowned night vote getter as well. Heck, he was able to get the lead on Cloud for a few seconds and then proceed to get only 13% after that. We know Crono doesn't have much of a day vote either.

Crono doesn't have much of a day vote? I wouldn't say he's a day vote champion or anything, but he's definitely decent with the day vote.

While Crono's not as bad as Magus and Frog with the day vote, he still loses it more often than not. The only instances where I can find that he won it were against other Square characters (Zidane and Vincent).

didn't he hold his own against Mega Man? I remember thinking that Mega Man had a chance to come back, but Crono just kept on increasing. Mega Man is the kind of character I'd expect to have a decent day vote too.

Crono's lead kept increasing slowly but surely, but his percentage dropped. He had over 53% going into the day vote.

I think reports of Halo's legendary day vote have been exaggerated. Sure, Master Chief had a huge comeback against Frog, but come on...Frog has one of the worst day votes we've ever seen. Sure, he had a huge comeback against Donkey Kong, but despite being Nintendo, DK's day vote sucks. DK let Duck Hunt do about the same thing to it. He lost the day vote to Sam Fisher and barely did anything with it against Vivi. StarCraft's day vote is hardly spectacular either, though in part due to its monstrous night vote.

Well, Ryu Hayabusa had a strong day vote as well, although you could say it was Jill having a strong night vote. I still say it had more to do with Ryu. Those voting trends were pretty well defined.

Alucard's plan failed.

Mickey produced a brand spanking new one.

I think it's more KH's day vote being amazingly strong here, actually. Halo's day vote is still strong (bigger than KH's I'd say, just some anomaly in their matches). If you don't want to trust the contest results, there's a bunch of other random polls were Halo/Xbox made some sick percentage gains.

This match is not over yet!!

Alucard has yet to make his move!!

so, if KH wins this match, KH>MG bandwagon ahoy?

In the off chance Kingdom Hearts does win, there is no way anyone with an ounce of sanity would think it has a chance against Metal Gear.

Alucard's plan failed.

You could not possibly comprehend how the Plan works.

Then again, neither can I, but I believe the basic idea is that in the event that Alucard must lose (which he inevitably will), he will lose to something that will get devoured in the next round.

See: Mario/Cloud, Link/Ganondorf, OoT/Goldeneye, Snake/Sora.

Metal Gear/KH will be similar - KH himself wants Metal Gear to win.

Unless...

The Plan is deep and full of twists indeed!

This is why the Captain won't let the Plan succeed! What kind of plan is so needlessly complicated? A plan should be simple and easy to remember!

Like, say, beat Castlevania! Sounds like a good plan to me! And you're never left in doubt as to whether it worked or not!

Crono was able to use the afternoon vote to come back against Mario in 2003, although that's probably outdated now.
