Holy crap at that one. Why do people underestimate Sonic. Because there's reason to, especially if you compare Sonic/SSB to CV/Halo like so many did: ---SSBM is bigger than either Halo game, and its two games are on different systems. ---SSB is older than Halo. ---There's much more hype for SSBB than Halo 3 here (barely a point, but still a point). ---Nintendo's LOVED here, Microsoft is HATED. ---CV's biggest game is bigger than Sonic's. ---CV's both older and has spanned more systems than Sonic... ---...and the favorite games for CV are spread out across systems whereas Sonic-faves are almost all on the Genesis or simply SAB2. ---CV's also been doing better this generation and the past generation than Sonic. I think that's a great case for Sonic/SSB, and you could probably use alot of SSB's points to compare with KH as well. | I can't believe KH is so close to Castlevania, of all series. Castlevania is a classic, KH is a mediocre 3rd person action game that just happens to be loaded with Square fanservice. |

I'm not surprised this match has such a high vote total now. CV drawing
a lot of votes from the Nintendo fanbase while KH is drawing votes from
the Square fanbase. So this is basically a Nintendo/Square match with

This isn't going on for another 8 hours. It's just not right that a
series can pull a series from a 1100 lead down to what will probably

Castlevania...a series I have loved since firing up Castlevania I on my old NES in 1987...is taking it to KH here...keeping it close. And who promised that would happen? Me, thats right, me me me: the premier analyst of Board 8! And I also predicted the resurgence of KH during the day today...the day vote...as the holy alliance of Girly Gamers, RPG diehards, Square Legions, Sephy Girls, Cloudians, Disney Kids, and bracketeers band together to preserve my precious perfect bracket. Oh how I love my fans, voting for KH in my honor like this!!! Today we have a breather match to discuss between the first and second of the '3 Trials of My Bracket'. That breather being Mario vs Warcraft. The truth is...this match is a no brainer...but it wont be a slaughter as the GTA Avengers hope it will be. WC will put up a nice fight but not like Pokemon did on overrated Metroid. Mario will handily stomp all over Warcraft... Now I must return to watching the Jumbotron Updater, and watch as KH whittles away at CV's nighttime lead...the sound of the "Cant wait til Steve loses" bandwagon stalling out this evening will be music to my ears. I grab my pom-poms and begin to cheer wildly! Rah rah rah! GO KH! For Great Justice! For all that is holy and right in this world! Avenge my bad picks from 2002-2005! DO it for me, KH! Me and no other! Rah rah! In other news...for those who think I am some sort of flash in the pan, well, yours truly is sitting atop the Guru contest, and is in 2nd place in the Oracle, riding a 10 day Top 5 Leaderboard streak, and am only 1 point out of 1st...1st is mine if KH wins...and it will. No "IF" about it! To have a perfect bracket is one thing, but to be ruling the Oracle as consistently as I have been...now that is an accomplishment worth even more right now :) "Aint no gettin off this train we're on!" Unless Castlevania makes a valiant effort to keep the match tied to the end, it's over. I hope that as soon as KH reaches 0, Castlevania gains some newfound strength and the match starts going into a back-and-forth lead-changing extravaganza. Sadly, though, it probably won't. Castlevania's getting like 30 more votes per update than it was this morning, but KH is getting 300 votes or so each update. It's not Castlevania going down, but rather KH skyrocketing up due to the day vote. --- sig |

Heh. The totals are at the level they were when I went to bed. Except
for the the higher totals, if I didn't know any better, I'd think CVs

Sorry, I got a little distracted there. But no real cheating I could
find. Except for the one user that got axed earlier for vote stuffing,
but his votes weren't counted anyway. This is from the new sticky by CJayC; I was so excited that KH was coming back with venegance that I didn't even notice the new topic. Well, on the bright side, my bracket breathes a sigh of relief, and
except for the potential of Sonic > SSB, I should still have a
