Shame I have to go to work at 4. Oh well, if GTA wins I'll get to
relive my favorite contest memory. You know, the night of Mario/Crono
2003 when I didn't have access to a computer? I was certain Crono had
won, so I voted on Seph/Alucard thinking Crono had won, but I didn't
check the bracket. And then I clicked on the board and was greeted by a
storm of WTF MARIO WON?!? topics. <3 --- Mario's not fun btw and only sells on nostalgia. I mean, you're just walking from one side of a level to the other at a tenth of Sonic's speed... -vego |

I want to be happy for WC3 getting some run, but then I read this board
for about 30 seconds. WoW fans are now #1 on my list of the most

So many times my brackets have been broken before their times by
fanbabies who voted with the bandwagon or their own noobism...or by me
cause of stupid picks. *Remembers Viewtiful Joe...* Today...at long last..I shall have my revenge...I shall be one of a few hundred accounts at most with a 10-0 bracket after GTA is laid to rest by the Horde. And the irony of it all: I have never even played WoW, and I played WC2 for all of 10 minutes like 8 yrs ago. ..still I know the better series when I see it. Its just like Starcraft when it won all those times against so called superior competition. The so called superior games...Halo...Kingdom Hearts...Wind Waker...they just were not so after all. GTA has never done anything on this site other than draw a lot of clicks on its FAQs. So what? This is just the kiddies looking for codes... To be right...is so satisfying...especially after being wrong before...as in Kefka failing to win a few times...Frog not knocking off the overrated Snakester...FFVI losing to Link to the Past...oooh that one still hurts... Still even when my picks lost, I never cried or claimed cheating occurred or any of the other nonsense I see. May as well say Mario cheated cause Madden did not hit 8%. May as well also say that all the goths posted on VampireNet saying hey...vote for Castlevania...beat that angel game...Halo... *giggles* The dreams of leaderboard glory have eluded me for 4 yrs...at last I see it really being a possibility. It's matches like this that really strip credibility from the contests. GTA is casual, sure. Maybe it's not as good as FF/Mario Bros/LOZ but hell it's a better series than Warcraft. For a series that has had 3 games selling over 10 million this generation, Nay. 3 critically acclaimed games selling 10m+ this generation to be losing here? You want to be in good condition when we have a board ceremony for the man with the first ever perfect bracket. This, the ultimate honor...I would covet it...you really have no idea...but I wont write about it til it happens, or looks like it really could. Still way too early to even think about it. Gotta wait til Street Fighter takes out up-and-comer Elder Scrolls...and for Mega Man to take out Mario Kart...and for the only match that causes me any pause after that in Round 2: SF's upset over RE.
