Alucard probably always needs to keep one arm tied behind his back to
restrain his power a la Oro. Otherwise, he'd beat Clinkeroth + FF7 and
Ocarina of Time in a poll with over 80% of the vote. ...oh wait, stats topic. Uhhh... NULL HYPOTHESIS or ALTERNATE HYPOTHESIS: Castlevania would beat Metroid. --- This was Ed Bellis. Summer 2005 Fanfiction Project: http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=8&topic=28403845 |

I'll go with, uh, alternate hypothesis. however, I think SOTN beats Super Metroid, and maybe Metroid Prime. either way, I think we can conclude that either a.) Castlevania is benefitting from a wide variety of games or b.) 007 was indeed hit with severe SFF against OOT. *thinks back to argument from a few weeks ago* --- xyzzy |

Intellegence seemed to work against you in this battle. The low scores did better than the high scores. I wonder if it might have been because there were a good amount of non-Board 8 brackets still perfect, because of the high prediction percentages for everything so far. Seems like every match before FE/SH was obvious to the average bracket maker, while at least a few folks on the board talked themselves into Star Ocean and Kirby. --- Need new sig. |

From: LeonhartForever It's funny how before, everyone was going "YAY 100 LEAD UPDATE!" Now they're just going "YAY 70 LEAD UPDATE!" Halo is slooowly gaining momentum :) ...No, it isn't. Before we were talking about a 70 vote update, we were talking about Halo holding Castlevania to 30-40 vote updates. No, Halo stalls it all the time (the 30-40 vote ones, and recently, 20 votes), then a big update (ie 100 votes, but recently 70) comes and everyone starts cheering. --- ...little Weezing it's gonna stand up against my ****in' Charizard? So does Halo still stand a chance against CV? I had Halo over CV on my brakcet. Halo's got a shot. Halo's come back from this kind of stuff before. I don't think it drags. I think it's asinine how it's "this happens, go
here, now this happens, go here, etc... end of quest." But yeah, I am
on Jay's quest now. I am intrigued to find out about Grune, but it will
have to wait until tomorrow morning. --- RIP - Tnote827 (4/4/05) |
