nah, I've never believed that Kirby the series had much strength at
all. I even said a couple days ago that I'd probably take Pokemon over
it. put it against something like MG or Mario Kart or something and it

I'm guessing metroid with 70% of the brackets. Hopefully a good deal of
zero point brackets get it... too many are left, and I'd hate to see

On topic, uh, after today's performance, does anyone thing Metroid
has a legit shot at being the #4 series? Not that we'd ever know,
thanks to LoZ... I don't think it's ultimate performance in this contest would justify it being fourth. Frankly, I expect that the top four seeds will all finish in the top four, followed by SSB and KH. Metroid, I think, although it would give those last two a real run for the money in a match, maybe even beating them, will be SFFed too badly by LoZ for it to show in the standings. --- Evacuate? In our moment of triumph? I think you overestimate their chances. |

Solid, Liquid, and Psycho Mantis?!? MGS has the Slowflake vote! And this is the best picture MGS has ever had aside from Snake/Sora. If Soul Calibur breaks 40%, I'll be ashamed. |

The Metal Gear side is a little dark, but I don't have any problems

Voldo isn't a bad character, he just isn't photogenic enough to work in
the pic. At least villains that are hollywood ugly, like nightmare work

Quaarma Hunter's Quaint Qubandwagon Quanalysis Soul Calibur has a strength of 37.71. Metal Gear Solid 2 has a strength of 35.77. Soul Calibur wins with 52.57% of the vote! A win of 4,266 with 82,929 total votes cast. Soul Calibur has a strength of 37.71. Metal Gear Solid has a strength of 31.57. Soul Calibur wins with 58.14% of the vote! A win of 13,874 with 85,213 total votes cast. Again, people: X-STATS DON'T LIE. The original Soul Calibur on DC beats both MGS and MGS2 handily. Yeah, there are the other MGS games, including MGS3, but MGS3 didn't sell *nearly* as well, proving that it is unpopular amongst the fans and not that there was a set of gamers that were unenthralled with MGS2 or anything. And Soul Calibur II wasn't even taken into account at the time. And it had the most popular guest star ever in the game -- Heihachi, in the PS2 version! And it had that not washed up at all icon in the XBox version, Spawn! Yeah, it had that unpopular loser Link in the GC version, but hey, what are ya gonna do. And we can't forget Soul Calibur III either, which was ONLY for Playstation 2! That makes it a LOT more popular, seeing as how it was super-duper-EXCLUSIVE. And it'll probably even SFF Metal Gear, too. That'd make perfect sense. Bah, this one isn't even worth wasting my breath on, the winner is so easy...except for one last thing. If you see that loser Karma Hunter when Metal Gear is losing, give him a big ol' hearty laugh for me. God I hate that guy. Prediction: Soul Calibur with 67% --- *is Karma Hunter* |

I just realized that this match is at 104k votes, which is interesting
since a lot of people thought it would be the first match to not hit
100k votes. There might not be a match with fewer then 100k votes this

How the hell does a Tekken original make it but not Nightmare?? I can't believe that this match is going to end up at 105,000+ votes. I mean, not only is this Nintendo/Nintendo, it's Samus/Kirby, two of the worst vote draws last contest. I really wouldn't be surprised if Fire Emblem/Silent Hill broke 95,000 votes at this rate. |

yeah, but Soul Calibur is the only non-fodder opponent a 1-seed has

The only #1 seeds that haven't doubled their opponent in the first round are Kefka and Halo. With 32 entrants this is really the equivalent of the 2nd round. So neither of those really count either, actually.
