It's funny how this match looks to be a reenactment of Ocelot/Pac-Man.
Goes under the radar for virtually the entire nomination period and
gets a very lopsided response as to who will win, then in the days
leading up to the match there's a crescendo of hype out of nowhere. Yep, Star Ocean wins with 51%. ;) --- I do declare, old chap! Even a Doom score could not possibly justify the unwarranted combustion of kittens! |

I for sure hope it happens even though I've got Pokemon (like I'm gonna
win the contest or something), and I'll definitely be voting for Star
Ocean despite never having played it. AND despite liking Pokemon a lot. The reasons? 1.) I like upsets and MUCH more importantly 2.) NintendoFAQs can go die |

I honestly expected at least Charizard or Blastoise to grace the picture. I mean they are
on the cover of the games. Hell, ANY of the fully evolved starters, any
legendaries, ANYTHING but this. When you see the starters in their
first evolution and Pikachu, you can't HELP but think about the
cartoon. At least the others have you thinking about the game, since
they are much more popular and prominent in the game than in the
