This is the first contest where the premise is to actually consider
more than one game or character when voting. While lots of people will
obviously vote for their favorite game from either series (say, voting
SSBM over the entire Sonic series), people may also very well take the
whole series into consideration. If that does happen, entrants like
Castlevania and Sonic suddenly look much more deadly. --- Board 8: Where Wii treat each other right. |

Exactly. That just happens to be what I'm banking on for my entire
bracket. If I'm wrong, I'll get Castlevania > anything wrong, Sonic

Man, I thought Suikoden would win over Mega Man X, but then I saw that

Are you telling me that people will look at SSB/Sonic and think "Well, SSBM owns any Sonic game to death, but it since Sonic has way more games I'd better vote for him."? Come on, people. This is ridiculous. SSB will have absolutely no trouble putting away Sonic. No, it's the whole thing that if you're a fan of SSB you're going to be a fan of SSBM, and that the SSBM series will only be as strong as it's strongest game: SSBM. The Sonic series has a wide variety of games, spanning multiple consoles. There's a much greater chance of someone liking just one of those Sonic games over SSBM. And if they do, I beleive they will vote for Sonic. Still, I'm going with SSBM, but to completely ignore Sonic is just ignorant. --- Explicit Content Cheer Up Emo Kids |

Oh, you mean like how people thought Master Hand was the strongest out of his bunch? =P The only difference is that poll was a "Who do you want?" rather than a "Who do you think?" poll. Honestly, the ordering of the poll is correct. It's a little late to do anything about it now...Plus, if I'd had my
decision in the matter, we'd be seeing Yoshimitsu getting rallied for

I was just entering in my bracket to board odds, and I figured to check
to see what my bizarre upsets were. Aside from kh, which I'll concede
is a hard upset to have faith in, I now see that resident evil is
heavily favored to beat street fighter? I've been reading our topics,

So now that we got the Suikoden/Mega Man X match out of this way, let's
move on to 2 more matches that I need a little help with. And those matches are... Street Fighter/Resident Evil ----------------------------------- I thought Street Fighter was a safe bet, but now I hear that you're all leaning against Resident Evil 0_o Silent Hill/Fire Emblem ---------------------------- right now I have Silent Hill as the winner. But I have no idea on how popular Fire Emblem is. --- This sig needs more cowbell. |
