Here's a question I always had. What happened in Donkey Kong Vs. Duck Hunt? The two games have pretty much the exact same fanbase, so why did Duck Hunt come back by so much, so consistently? --- "What's wrong with boot blacking? I like it very much." |

SNES or PS1 would win such a contest fairly easily on GameFAQs. Heh,
they could probably even manage to beat "PC", if it were included. Also, PS2 is the most disappointing system I've ever owned. I doubt it would do much better than the GCN. --- Pity for the guilty is treason to the innocent. |

Also, PS2 is the most disappointing system I've ever owned. I doubt it would do much better than the GCN. You are out of your mind. PS2 beats the hell out of the GCN in every single aspect imaginable. I'd say the SNES takes first with the original Playstation barely
edging out the PS2 for second. I wouldn't be surprised if the PS2 was
stronger, but the original has some RPG game I hear is popular around

PS or PS2? Nah, I doubt it. Just cause FF7 and FF8 were on PS and FFX
and KH1/2 were on PS2 doesn't mean it'd beat the SNES. Nintendo would

I think the SNES would clinch a console contest without much of a
problem. It just has too strong of a mix of popular games/series -
Mario, Zelda, FF, CT, etc. The fact that aside from CT, the most
popular games from all these series are from other consoles isn't too

I made a quick 16-system bracket in 8x2 format which is a little biased
towards my tastes, but go ahead and predict it. My original list had 19
systems, and I dropped the Wii and PS3 since they haven't come out yet,
and I also dropped the Game Gear. I didn't feel like thinking up 32
systems since the bottom half would be complete fodder. North Division 1. SNES 8. Game Boy 5. DS 4. N64 3. XBox 360 6. Genesis 7. Game Boy Color 2. PSX South Division 1. PS2 8. Saturn 5. NES 4. Game Boy Advance 3. XBox 6. Dreamcast 7. PSP 2. GameCube --- For the sake of simplicity, I'm going to refer to Gordon Freeman versus Tanner as Schrodinger's Match. -Phoenix Flattener |

I doubt Zelda would win the poll. Wouldn't Nintendo's votes be split? No...This is who you think will win the contest. It's not a favorites poll. I say LoZ might win that poll because, even when Cloud won the contest in 2003, Link was STILL the heavy favorite to win in 2004. Still doing my write-ups now. Been busy this past couple of weeks. From last topic: Personally, I'd like to see a "Which #1 seed do you think has the best chance of winning?" poll. Yeah right, so everyone can change their bracket in the off chance that Zelda or Mario surprise in that poll? I know that most likely wouldn't happen in this instance, but it still would be pretty much a sneak preview of the semi-finals and finals. Even with Master Hand, that was a huge indication that he would win. And even on top of that. What about the people not knowledgable about
the contest that think Zelda is going to win? If Final Fantasy
dominates that poll, it would probably entice a lot of people to change

year. Yeah, and I'm talking about for this contest. Sure there is the off-chance of Zelda upsetting FF for the crown, but in all likelyhood, that isn't happening. With as predictable as this contest is, I'd prefer to not even give people a reason to switch their brackets from Zelda to FF. Write-ups? I'm deciding if I want to make my write-ups interesting or
not. I also don't want to end up with 3-4 people pulling up the same
