You know me though, I have always brought up the Top 100 List. Why wouldn't I now with a find like that? because you conveniently dismissed the superior Metroid! (I've been playing MP today. That's not even counting Pokemon Blue! XD. But seriously, guys, I think that Pokemon being high on that list is a good sign that Pokemon hate is actually going down. I know, you can't anti-vote, but increased acceptance is a good indicator too. Basically, have that poll a few years back, I don't think Pokemon gets that high. Am I considering it over Metroid? Halo was behind Starcraft and MGS under-performed against FF7. You
can't just dismiss the list like that, especially with its ordering on

Halo was behind Starcraft and MGS under-performed against FF7. You
can't just dismiss the list like that, especially with its ordering on
so many of the games. Always go with the list. |

What, Super Metroid? Sure, the Top 100 List says otherwise, but let me
be the first to present to you the Game Contest's x-stats. 17) Metroid Prime 33.40% 29) Super Metroid 21.63% That's one of those occasional ****-ups you'll find on there. It's not the format's fault though -- I think it was just an unusual week to have the contest open. We've seen that October is odd for Metroid -- remember Cloud beating Samus's ass? I'd like to know how LoZ:LttP would SFF SM when Link -- the embodiment
of his entire series -- couldn't SFF Samus in 2k3 (who gets more of her
strength from SSB/M than most other heavy-hitting Nintendo characters).
Get back at me when you made up an answer, because there's not a real

hmm. a fair point, especially when you consider that Metroid Prime got
45% on a Zelda title. still, I can't help but think that Super Metroid

RPGuy's right -- it can't be the boomerang factor. Mainly because the only factor involved is the LB'A Factor. Link Beat 'Dat Ass. but you're not voting for the boomerang, you're voting for Link! the
boomerang just adds to Link's cool factor in the LTTP picture, whereas
in the WW picture it's like "that dude's just not worthy of the

actually, I kind of agree with Leon (?) on that. Mario is known as the
SFF master because Link is so much stronger than him. Link SFFs stuff
just as badly as Mario does, but because Link's strength is naturally

For those who've been waiting (hi aprosenf) Spread betting will be up
tomorrow. I was just going through most of the rules now, leaving them
as they are, more or less. The results topic will be up tomorrow, the

Hey I'm back! Catchup: The new poll placement for IE sucks. It's as if Ceej wants anything related to games to have horrible votals and ruin my bracket...that's assuming that it stays for the contest, and it probably will. MG/Chrono would be a potentially great match and way up in the air, which is why it's too bad Chrono couldn't scrape up an 8 seed and face it in the first round. Kingdom Hearts *was* a slouch in 2k4 for the umpeenth time, Starcraft be damned. You want to make a reasonable adjustment for it, slide it under MGS2. And yes, MGS beats MGS2 by miles, AGAIN. Oh, and I'd take MGS and Goldeneye 007 over Halo. Why? Top Ten List aside, it's what I would have done in 2k4 without a single reservation. --- *is Karma Hunter* |

But taking Metroid to beat Pokemon is a risk that might win you the
contest. After all, there's bound to be an upset somewhere. The
question is: Where? That looks like one of the better ones to me. Unfortunately, I'm too gutless to take that one. I'm worried Metroid might not even beat Kirby. I'm rubbish at picking out joke posts, but that is a joke post, right? And I have Castlevania winning the four pack as well. Would you buy a PlayStation 3 remake of Final Fantasy VII? Buy it?
