To add to that, Castlevania has spanned many generations. There are the
old-school gamers who remember it on the NES and SNES, the ones who
think SotN is one of the best games every, the recent PS2 games (though
I heard those were mediocre), and the GBA/DS series. It's likely that
many gamers have experienced its greatness at some point. (I'm a fan of

And have I lost it, or is everyone else on crack? HOW IS ELDER SCROLLS VS. STREET FIGHTER NOT EVEN DEBATABLE? I'm looking at the URL...and Street Fighter isn't a no-brainer here against any major RPG, IMO. And Oblivion is the second most popular game of the year so far. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Elder Scrolls take Street

Of course, most of this board is unfamiliar with Elder Scrolls, so

Mario RPG probably got a little bit of the SFF against Chrono Trigger.
I doubt Street Fighter 2 is as weak as it looks. I'd take it over quite

Well, Street Fighter still got 44% on Super Mario RPG. It's not weak at
all. Elder Scrolls also is no Super Mario RPG... It could be close, but
I feel confident picking Street Fighter. Neither is that
big a series on this site, but at least more people have played Street
Fighter. I can't see people who aren't big fans of Elder Scrolls

Honestly, I think my main cause for concern with TES would be people
not equating "Oblivion" and "Morrowind" with "The Elder Scrolls". As a

Eh... I'm just using GameFAQs "common sense" for this call. It just doesn't feel like it should be popular, here. It's a non square RPG primarily for the PC, having somewhat standout titles for the X-Box. I'm not feeling it. I could be wrong, obviously. If this were Elder Scrolls vs. Mario RPG, would you be expecting Elder

A lot of our personal expectations are biased anyway, so that's not a
question that people who aren't familiar with Elder Scrolls will answer

I know Elder Scrolls is more than Oblivion, but humor me here. 30% haven't even played any of those games, let alone Oblivion. I highly doubt that the majority of the Nintendo fanbase would vote Elder Scrolls over something as more known as Street Fighter. I just don't think Elder Scrolls simply has enough to draw from to take down something like Street Fighter. I guess from the ones who voted for a game that didn't vote for Elder Scrolls. But in my question, I meant do you really think that's going to happen. Okay, well, then you've got the rest of the series to fall back on.
Honestly, you could look at any of those polls, and ask yourself where
Kingdom Hearts is going to get another 23% to win a match, especially

I have a question. I have seen the debates of the first division, and I obviously saw Kirby has nothing to in favor to beat Metroid. But, I ask: Why anyone that votes for Kirby as a character not vote for Kirby as a series? --- Then think about Kirby...oh man, Kirby wearing a Teflon plate on his chest would be awesome.--Harrich, expressing the awesomeness of having 50cent in SSBB. |

Why anyone that votes for Kirby as a character not vote for Kirby as a series? The same reason why I'd find myself more likely to vote for Mega Man's games than Mega Man. And that's not to say I don't like Mega Man. I do. I just like his
games more than I like him. It's the exact opposite for Kirby. Kirby's
games are fun because of Kirby himself. Not because they're anything

as for Oblivion: I'm not trying to discredit it at all, but games that
are wide open and nonlinear like ES always end up high on the FAQ list.
it's why games like Suikoden manage to stay up there despite having
next to no sales. (anyone got Oblivion sales handy?) I see Morrowind at
#50 and it's apparently been on the list for 1317 days, so Elder
Scrolls has always had a presence there. it's not like Oblivion is the

Why anyone that votes for Kirby as a character not vote for Kirby as a series? That's a pretty silly question, no offense. As I stated in the other topic, Kirby has been around for 14 years. He's had plenty of games and more than enough time to establish a name in gaming, and therefore popularity. That's actually one I'm not taking. I'd take GTA over Sonic, Mega Man
(and X), Metroid, Mario Kart, and possibly even Kingdom Hearts. It'll
