FFXIII media was all over the place, even though the actual trailer,
IMO, was a tad disappointing (the futuristic setting and fast paced

Wee, all caught up, just had to share that with you all. And I"ll chime in with the people who say that Sony had more individual games I want to see (MGS:4/FFXIII) but Nintendo had a better, more diversified lineup. How can anything for any one game Nintendo did compare to the MGS 4 trailer? The ssbb trailer was...okay, for me, and not serious, twilight princess isn't exactly new, and then anything after that was only a slight glimpse, save red steel, which was awsome, but not mgs4. --- Revenge is a dish best served cold. ~ Old Klingon Proverb |

Analysis Crew 2006: (Spring and Summer, just so you lazy people know it in advance) Master Moltar (THE ORIGINAL) UltimaterializerX (THE ONE HIT WONDER) therealmnm (THE WHITE EMO RAPPA) Leonhart4 (THE GRIEVER) HaRRicH (THE SUTH'N MUNCHKIN) yoblazer33 (THE MASTER) Heroic Mario (THE BIPOLAR SCHIZO) By the way, don't commit to the Crew without the intent of being punctual. Moltar is weary of allowing a lot of people on, because people seem to be late with writeups every contest and it stresses him out. With the seven who are committed now, plus Soul if he asks to join, that's eight. All those people not giving punctual writeups would suck ass, especially given that most of the people on that list were my idea last year. Though with this said, that's one strong-ass field of people. Leon and HaRRicH are the only ones I'm even remotely worried about, what with Leon skipping out on his NCAAs and HaRRicH still not having finished RTG4T. And figures. Heh, yeah, RTG4 is pure laziness, but for the past two or three
brackets I've typed my own personal "analysis" on each match (I prefer
to call it justification for each of my match-picks than analysis)
within a week of the bracket being released. Besides, you saw how quick
I chimed in with those extra post-contest reviews for the summer
contest last year, and those were bigger and were harder to make

I'd love to hear from somebody that didn't really care about KH on the matter of KH2. For me it just cracks my Top 10. Went with a two day rental first to see if I would like it, needless to say I was hooked & went and bought it the very next week. Very enjoyable game. Anyways, this is the longest I've seen nominations stay open, and he's yet to put up a front page linke. Snake being in SSBB is one of the most WTFest things to happen in a
video game in a long time. Sure, it's cool, but he'll look completely

I'm praying for Sonic, Tails and Knuckles to be in SSBB, which I think
is fairly likely. I'd absolutely love Mega Man and Zero being in it but

Wouldn't it be funny if there was a cruel melee, and a certain number of KOs was necessary to unlock Sonic/Tails? I've never played the first game (although I watched my roommate play various portions of it, and it didn't look that great). I have played the sequel, however, from start to finish. Kingdom Hearts 2 looks very polished and is enjoyable, but most of the complaints are valid: The game is very easy (save for a few fights in the final Coliseum cup) and the actual mechanics of the gameplay consist of just massing X and occasionally hitting triangle at the right time. And if you ever do get careless and die, the game pulls a Mystic Quest and puts you right back where you died. --- "I wish I was uniformly bounded; That is what I'd truly like to be. Mega Man actually has a better chance of being in SSBB than Sonic due
to the character request poll being in Japanese (with Sonic not being
popular in Japan and Mega Man being popular) and that Mega Man has a

The only grounds that Mega Man has for even having a good relationship with Nintendo is the MMBN and MMZ series. Sonic has the Sonic Advance series, Sonic Rush, Sonic Battle, not to mention that Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is one of the highest selling games on the Gamecube. Not to mention Sonic Adventure DX, the various Collections, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Sonic Heroes. Also, I may be mistaken, but aren't the Gamecube versions of the multiplatform releases the highest selling? I may be wrong... Mega Man also has his collections sell the highest on Nintendo
consoles, and even has Mega Man styled GBAs in Japan, top that off the

Mega Man's easliy got the deeper roots, Sonic's easily got the bigger
branches. While I would prefer seeing Mega Man in more and think he

stronger sales on the GC, and Sonic has gotten a few handheld titles on
Nintendo systems as well. Couple that with Capcom's porting or
cancelling every one of the infamous Capcom-Nintendo "Big 5," and I
really can't see how Capcom's relationship with Nintendo is better than

Nintendo and Sega are very close with each other nowadays. Sega was the
first third party to have its titles appear on the Virtual Console,
Sonic has had multiple million sellers on the GameCube -- more than the
PS2 and Xbox -- he is a far larger character worldwide than Mega Man
(his games sell far more, but that's well known at this point), the
first questioned asked in relation to third party characters was "Is
Sonic going to be playable?" Mega Man goes back on Nintendo consoles
further, but the Nintendo fanbase is very supportive of the Blue Blur.
Plus, who doesn't want to have a Mario v. Sonic matchup? I mean, come on ... Personally, I would be shocked if Sonic was not apart of SSBB when it releases. I wouldn't look at the actual characters so much as I would the
company; I certainly think the relationship with between the 2
companies would be the most important factor in getting 3rd party

It would be huge for America and Europe. The sales from America doubled

Of course character demand and popularity would be a primary parameter.

If they both make it, I'm taking Mega Man -- he's had a longer absense
from the lime-light than Sonic. If just one of them makes it, I'm

Sonic has definitely been increasing his presence among the video
industry. For those that started gaming around the N64 era, when Sonic
was practically non-existent outside of Sonic R, Sonic definitely has a
lot of room for growth. That's apparent every time I look over at my
13-year old little brother who has Shadow as his favorite video game character *shudders*. Sonic definitely has more of an impact among the younger gamers. Mega Man is about as constant as they come when it comes to overall presence and popularity. Sonic can definitely take him in upcoming years if his games hit hard enough.
