My ten: Metal Gear Solid Final Fantasy Donkey Kong Country Sonic the Hedgehog Street Fighter Mega Man X Chrono series Kirby series Kingdom Hearts Super Smash Brothers Though, in hindsight, now I wish I had nominated Mario Kart and R&C (though the latter stands no chance of getting in). Also, why is nobody talking about Mortal Kombat? Also, I guess somebody (probably TRE) should bust out the list of
favorite series polls that we've had over the years. In a contest like
this, it could actually be useful. We saw that it held up more for

I would definitely pick Soul Calibur over any fighting game series

SM64DS wasn't really a reason to go and buy a DS. Sure it's a nice game
to have, but I doubt it's the main reason for most of the people here

Well, the only poll (that I know of) with DoS is this one: http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=2243 In which it takes a distant second to MKDS. Still, it beat quite a few respectable games to get there and is a good bit ahead of 3rd place. --- Mustache...and green... |

I'm not saying it's not well-liked. I would simply believe that SM64DS
is more popular on the DS here than C:DoS, and SM64DS was a launch game

Oh man that hurts. UltimaterializerX won't let me enter the guru
contest! On the account of trolling, no less. That makes sense. You
know, I might just enter a fake bracket in the contest and lose every
single match!! Muhahaha. Or no, better yet, by not allowing me to enter

You know, I was kinda against keeping somebody from participating in
the guru contest, seeing that behavior and status in a topic or on a
board have nothing to do with one's ability to successfully predict a

Man, the more I see, the more it seems like a revival of Sonic the
Hedgehog is on the way. His new games both look awesome. The new game

I agree. I haven't been the biggest fan of MGS in the past, but wow
did that trailer raise my anticipation through the roof. I can't wait
for the 15 minute version and seeing Kojima actually play it later

some other site do a contest that had a lot of threeway voting? Are you

I obviously had no problem with the way the old Raiden looked. He
doesn't look bad now... but the mouth piece looks kinda stupid though.
And I'm unsure if his flowing locks in all their glory have been

Raiden looked awesome in that trailer. Kinda reminded me of Gray Fox

Hmmm...There does seem to be a greater influx of Square fans coming to
the site. Final Fantasy VIII is all the way up in the top 30, and even

Final Fantasy III DS is in September, too. It might not be in the
middle of the contest, but there is just a steady stream of great
