I hate to whore the board out, but I plan to make a note in my final
nomination about my Four-Pack of Fun board. ASSUMING CJay gives it the
light of day, I would hope that he would see plenty of four-packs that
may be good ideas for him...plus the board's been dying recently. Any

Ok, so now we're certain this will be a 32-entry tournament. We can
also reasonably assume that Final Fantasy, Zelda, and Mario will occupy
three of the top seeds. Any guesses on what we may see as the fourth

I would wager a 32 entry 4x8 bracket. As I recall, the "list" form was
rather different than what we have now, which is very similar to a

This is already starting to remind me of last year's Spring Contest.
We've got a 32-entry field. Instead of Sephiroth, Ganondorf, and
Bowser, we'll have Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda, and Super Mario
ripping everything else to shreds. We're curious as to what the last
top-seeded entry will be, and we're pretty much clueless on how
anything in between will perform. At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised

Any guesses on what we may see as the fourth 1-seed? When in doubt, go with past results for guessing, so I'd say Halo or Chrono. Which series does everybody think will take the most people by surprise, assuming it makes the bracket? The Starcraft/Diablo of the bracket, so to speak? I have a large list of dark horse picks (unless I get lazy, I'll make lists of Top Dogs, Dark Horses, and Lame Ducks as far as series go later on, because everyone loves pointless random guessing and pre-tourney predictions in CS+D topics), but the big one that I think will surprise a lot of people is Soul Blade/Calibur. --- Emily has smashed her way through Heavy so far... will Gilgamesh become her latest victim? I actually see Warcraft beating Starcraft without any difficulty, and I also think it'd beat Diablo without too much of a sweat. I think Warcraft would also disappoint people. Everything pre-WoW seems
to be averagely popular at best, which leaves the hoard of WoW fanboys
to carry the series. I don't know about you guys, but I have a little
brother who's a very casual WoW player, and there's simply no way I'd be able to get him voting in some contest when he's on the computer. --- Board 8: Where Wii treat each other right. -__- |

I would like to see all three Blizzard franchises if possible - the
more unpredictable, the better. I've got no clue where Warcraft ends up. I don't think starcraft really counts as a series though since there's only one. This site despises MMOs. The "I haven't played it and
never will" option always dominates whenever one of the games is in a
poll, and even if WoW were to somehow give Warcraft strength I think
enough SFF would go Starcraft's way for it to win that one. Not that
