I may sound crazy, but I'm starting to think Sephiroth > Link... KHII SPOILERS - - - - - - - - - - - - Unlike in the first KH, Sephiroth actually shows up in a few cutscenes throughout the game, and near the end in Jiminy's journal "Meet Sephiroth again" is listed as a mission. When you do fight him, it is simply AWESOME. I spent a good half hour just taking four health bars off him, and I had a blast doing it. He's seriously cooler in my eyes, and I can definitely see him beating Link. Link...really doesn't have any plans until SC2K6, and though he has e3, that might not help him enough. --- Finally Playing: Kingdom Hearts |

Never mind I read it on gamespot. What I found particularly interesting
was (I read that on gametrailers.com, though, which may not be all that

Didn't it sell 600,000 units in its first month? Have the NPD numbers for April been released already? Not yet. This was from a Square Enix press release ... http://www.square-enix.com/na/company/press/2006/0502/ And that basically goes on to say that it sold over a million in four weeks. I can't imagine KH2 outselling the original by much in the end, though.
Seems logical that people would pick it up earlier if they didn't know

So to sum up: Sora will likely become a top 15 character, if not on the VV/Ganon level yet. Ganon hype MAY push him over Solid Snake if Solid **** becomes involved. Again, NSMB may push Bowser just above Snake if Solid **** is involved. DoC will help Vince, and might make him a contender...again, providing solid **** is involved. Squall will boost. Hell, when I mde match pictures for a board contest I ran a while ago I found TIFA sprites in about 3 minutes. And a non-****, cartoony set of Snake sprites. --- Sign my petition! DoC will help Vince, and might make him a contender...again, providing solid **** is involved. Squall will boost. KH2, Solid ****, blah blah blah. I do not believe this two require "Solid ****" to be involved in order to win a match against Solid Snake. Dirge of Cerberus has Vincent as the main character, which should prove huge for him, and Squall has the largest, and a very cool, role in Kingdom Hearts II of any Final Fantasy character. That combined with the fact that they are within two percent of him, I believe, should allow for one to justify an upset pick if Solid Snake runs into those two. --- “Did I say something terrible? Even if KH sells by crazy amounts, it doesn't mean Sora becomes Top 15
calibur. People may like Sora MORE, but it doesn't mean that they'll

Didn't KH1 sell 4 million copies in a year? How did it only sell 1.4 by
the time of Summer 2003, then explode into 4 million over the next 3-4

Kingdom Hearts sold 2.6 million in its lifetime in America

People fail to realize Metal Gear is no LoZ:LttP here. I'm guessing he's talking about the origins of the sprites. I don't really get the point though. I mean sure, LttP (Pig Ganon sprite origin) is held dearer to his fans than Metal Gear is to Solid Snake fans. But I don't think it makes people go "Hey, it's Snake from the original Metal Gear game! Well, I don't really care for the original, but I loved LttP so I'll vote for Ganon now!". I think that's the point he was trying to make... Even with the worst sprite imaginable, Solid Snake would not lose to
Ganon in a sprite round. It is not like Ganon is significantly cooler
looking in his pictures at all. Then you have the fact that in no way
is Ganon going to be stronger than Solid Snake before Twilight Princess. In conclusion, someone with "XIII" in their name need not bring up Ganon hype that leads to one Harrich saying things that need to be deciphered!! --- “Did I say something terrible? My point is that practically any form of Ganon -- especially one from
LoZ:LttP, whether it's a well-liked pic or not -- is infinitely more
recognizable than Solid Snake from his MG games. In conclusion, someone with "XIII" in their name need not bring up Ganon hype that leads to one Harrich saying things that need to be deciphered!! recognizable due to the re-release of Metal Gear 1 and 2 with MGS3:

I actually love it... I wasn't so entrenched in the Metal Gear Solid
series where I couldn't accept a nice change like that. Plus, it's my
first playthrough of MGS3, so I hardly notice it. I'm not a Metal Gear
Solid purist anyways.... Compared to other people, I probably suck. Just beat The End yesterday. I took a long hiatus from the game right before him to tackle Kingdom Hearts 2 and a big chunk of GTA:SA. I was kinda nervous due to everything I heard about him, about how it was a long and tedious battle. But it wasn't that bad. I took on The Ladder too. Alright... Kirby > Samus. Total suicide? Or maybe a "Kirby did
better than expected maybe you weren't a total moron" 45-55% match? Or
possible rSFF Kirby win situation? I mean what was Samus expected to get against Mario? 55% or something? She didn't seem to move SFF Ganondorf "king of getting SFFed" much (yeah Samus isn't from the same series but there's no doubt Nintendo SFF happens). I know Kirby isn't Mario by any means, but doesn't anyone else see this as an off shot? (...maybe I should be trying to convince people of Kirby > Ganondorf first) How about Kirby > Ganondorf? I don't think Kirby rSFF'd Bowser much to begin with, and I base my
theory of rSFF off of the SSB/M series were Bowser is an embarrassment.
Samus and Ganon are not the same kind of embarrassment, and Samus was
in both SSB and SSBM. Furthermore, sure, there's Nintendo SFF...but
where has it been seen that went against LoZ and done by
somebody/something not related to LoZ? The two best cases you could
make -- SMB3/LoZ and Samus/Ganon -- still had them both looking fine
and assumed by most to be un-SFF'd. Add to it it's possible Ganon >
Bowser, and Kirby would have more rSFF'ing to do with less reason to

Bowser last time I checked. >_> But the argument is that Ganon's sprite doesn't do wonders for him either. You've got to remember all of the people here who started with OoT, and know Ganon more for his human form than his pre-OoT pig form (which is how I became familiar with him). Even if most of us know him by both, there probably are some people who will go "what is that". Since OoT, Ganon is only known by his pig from the very last fight in OoT, and arguably Puppet Ganon. Overall, not a whole lot of screentime. Point is, sprite form probably won't help Ganon much either. But Kirby > Samus is an X-Stats lock! Er... no I wouldn't put it in a bracket unless Kirby released some ground-breaking game, and even then I'd be unsure. But I do think it has potential to be a "45-55 maybe you weren't a total moron" match. I'm very serious about Kirby > Ganon though. I'd take it without looking back. Watch the Zelda/Nintendo bandwagoners who don't really care about Ganon flock to fellow Charismatic Nintendoer Kirby. Oh yes! But we've already gone over that plenty enough. (so I threw Samus out there) We just need a Ganon vs NotLink Nintendo SFF match to prove or disprove that, no way around it really.
