Something to randomly point out: On the Four-Pack of Fun board, I recently did a tournament where the 2005 bracket was paired off in tag teams (Mario/Joanna vs. Ness/CJ, for example) with three votes to win. The finals ended with Vivi/Zelda defeating Magus/Knuckles. How do people feel about this? --- This was Ed Bellis. Makes sense, you've got two combinations of RPG/non-RPG characters who
are both relatively strong, in so much that they'll overcome an
elite/muppet combo. I don't know whether that'd hold up for one of
Clinkeroth and a muppet, and I don't really think anyone matched up in

I was thinking...who would win, Hector (from Fire Emblem) or Marth/Roy? Everyone who's played Fire Emblem knows the awesomeness of Hector, but everyone who's played Smash Bros. ...wait, the weakest is in question? Cipriani, easily. He's not only
the only one that's not multi-platform (yet, at least), he's also the
only one on the PSP. Also, his game -- reasonablly enough -- has gotten
the least amount of attention from the masses. There's no way Cipriani

I think Link/Ganondorf is probably the closest thing to a "good" SFF
match I've seen, not counting things that are "uncertain SFF" (like
Snake/Sora) where there just inexplicable anomalies. Mario/Samus had

You'd be crazy to take Sora in a rematch. He has to make up a doubling
on a character who's been in the same games he has. He seems quite
SFFable. Sora would probably do a little better, but there's no way he
beats Aeris. Heck, I probably wouldn't take him over Tidus due to his

I would certainly take Sora over anybody at Yoshi 2k3's level (since
that's arguably his most-accurate showing yet) or below since Sora 2k4
(the only showing Sora had that is assumed to be accurate) is already
above that. From there, Sora could
be adjusted higher if you think Alucard is too low when he's based off
of Sora 2k4 (Alucard = 24.08%) though I personally won't make that
adjustment higher. Then of course, KH2...here are the people I'd take
over Sora that are above Yoshi 2k3 and not a NN-member from last year's
contest: Bowser Zelda Kirby Tifa ---> lol censor bypass...my ass Ganondorf Vincent Squall Auron Luigi I do expect a gain from Sora, but four of those are FF characters that would simply beat Sora down like Aeris did (and would again, given the chance). I'm really giving Luigi the benefit of the doubt with the new SMB game coming out on the DS, though I don't think it'll boost him all that much.
