Honestly, the best part of SM64DS is the mini-games. And I'm really pissed off that I lost my copy of it. I really like those mini-games. -_-

The games are supposed to be back for Super Mario Bros. DS. And now in multiplayer! Too bad it probably won't be online. I'd like to bust some of your asses in some of those mini-games. <_<;

It's not weird at all that Mario is doing much better now, compare the vote totals.

Okay, but then look at the vote totals and notice that Yoshi's doing even better percentage-wise than last time. Still weird as hell, though seeing Mario do well helps.


I got another question: how much of Mario's fanbase do you think comes from fans of his subseries but not his main series? From personal experience, I can't think of a time in any Mario sport game, the Kart series, Mario Party...hell, SMB2 too...where I would regularly use Mario, and would instead usually pick somebody else (I say all of this knowing I voted for Mario today though, heh). I know not everyone is like me, but I can see Mario getting outdone pretty easily if we went JUST by the subseries he has. His main series obviously keeps him afloat and the subseries never hurts...but how big of a fanbase could consist of gamers that judge him more for his other games than his main ones?

Well, if I had to guess, I'd say roughly 100% of gamers have played a main-series Mario game, so my guess is... not very many.

That poll doesn't have Sephiroth though. A poll with Sephiroth would be interesting.

The result would turn out closer with Cloud and Sephiroth taking one and two. I would not expect Cloud to lose the poll with Sephiroth there nor do I see how anyone else would ...

The question isn't whether SM64DS boosted Mario - that's pretty much undeniable. But it shouldn't boost him relative to other Mario characters. Compared to other Mario games, it had more of them and less of Mario, so if anything it should be causing Mario to do worse in a poll like this.

About the Nomination Rally Winners... what do you think they're chances of "bombing" are?

Prince of Persia- 20% He's most likely at least around as Kratos (GoW) level.

Nightmare- 65% I seriously think Nightmare has more of a chance of bombing than any of the winners. I have a feeling he's going to be one of those overrated "Games = Characters" characters.

Sub-Zero 5% I think Sub-Zero has the best chance of NOT bombing. Scorpion definitley isn't fodder, and Sub-Zero's most likely not fodder either, considering the fact that Sub-Zero might possibly be stronger than Sub-Zero

Captain Falcon- 15% He's most likely as strong as Ness if not stronger. If he's weaker, then it probably wouldn't be an amount to make him fodder.

Raiden- 50% Raiden is THE wildcard of the winners. He could end up towards the way bottom of the stats, or he could even be around Ness' strength. This of course, depends on the hate he still has. Or how, he might end up like Ocelot.
