The only thing I would really look forward to in a females contest is a Tifa/Aeris match, and if Ceej doesn't set it up, I wouldn't really care about it at all, unless he gets a little...liberal with his choice of match pictures.

Peach would be one of the new females we have not seen be pretty strong. Outside of her, there would be plenty of weak females and the obvious strong ones. Little in between, I would say.

The sad thing about Peach is that there aren't many female characters she would lose to, so when she turned out to be weaker than everyone expected, it wouldn't kill brackets like it would in a Summer Contest.

Personally, the scenario I've been hoping for the whole offseason has been Spring: Females, Summer: Games, let the Great Character Battle take a year off, so I'd totally be fine with that!

I disagree. Lara Croft of all characters could take out the bottom third of the villains field methinks. I sure we could come up with about 20-25 females that could beat Lara in a direct match.

If we don't get Zelda vs Tifa/Aeris winner, it'd be a terrible waste of bracket potential...

Can anyone explain to my why Peach would be strong? Sure she's from a popular series, but would anyone really vote for her?

I think KOS-MOS and Lara Croft would have no trouble to win over here, and I haven't played a single Xenosaga or Tomb Raider game :P

It certainly would not come in the form of these multiple fighting game females. I would pray that there would be very few actually getting in. Hell, when you have two ToS females getting into the contest you can abou sum it up as "weak." The decent and strong females are the obvious ones.

I would take it over nothing, but just the entire idea is very "bleh."

I'm through explaining. It's pretty much a waste of my time to keep giving reasons for why she should be of at least decent strength (25% range), just to keep hearing people say they don't see any reason why she would be strong at all. It's just wait and see at this point.

Celes only has to be 1.35% stronger than Terra to manage 20% on BL, which I think is manageable. I dunno why Jill wouldn't. Hayabusa's nearly 24% on BL.
