While we're discussing nominating games...didn't CJayC say that he was thinking about trading off between a game contest and a character contest?



I'm not sure, but since he printed that prediction about Gordon Freeman winning a match, that implies that there will be another Character Battle this year.



Regarding a nomination rally tournament for the Spring Contest, I don't think it's worth it. One of the main reasons for the nomination rally tournament is to get new characters in. If we have another game contest, there will be plenty of fresh blood anyway.

Personally, I found games a lot more enjoyable than characters. That might have been because it was the first one I followed really closely, but I don't think so. (After all, I was here for the first two, but the games contest was the first one that made me interested enough to visit the board). I just care a lot more about the games than the characters in the games. The games have directly given me hours of fun while the characters are just a piece of that.

My hope of Twilight Princess coming out before September - November was shattered when there was nothing from Reggie's speech at DICE. There is rumored to be a new Zelda trailer at Iwata's GDC speech, but I feel certain it won't release until after the contest, sadly.
