Why nominate Roo when we can nominate Ash (street of Rage 3), all the Village People fans would vote for him >_>

If there was anyone else I'd nom from Steets of Rage it would be Axl, but Roo is just far too badass.

Roo would be pretty hardcore, granted, but since Battletoads > SoR, Pimple/Rash/Zitz > Roo.

Yeah, in reality I'd be picking Aeris too. (As much as I like Parappa, watching him lose in round 1 wouldn't be much fun).

Pfft. When I win, you are all nominating Captain Falcon. =p

>_< I really hope nobody picks a character who's guaranteed to get in anyway.

And when I win the guru contest, we'll finally have an answer to where in the world Carmen Sandiego is.

...Gordon Freeman.

Surely he could win a 2/7-seed match..despite having lost a 3/14-seed match before...right?

2 Gordon Freeman
7 Marth

I wouldn't be too sure of that at all.
From: Slowflake | Posted: 2/9/2006 3:22:01 PM | Message Detail
Gordon's a lot stronger than Lloyd... with a proper 7/14-seed, he WILL win.

Speaking of which, which bracket layout do you like better, 4x16 or 8x8? I prefer the former by a large margin.

I like the latter. It gives us an excuse to have more division names. <_<
From: therealmnm | Posted: 2/9/2006 3:27:07 PM | Message Detail
It doesn't really matter to me either way, although I did like the 8x8 format. More higher seeds potentially cause more overrating by general bracket mackers. Plus it was nice to see some characters get #1 seeds and the division named after them when we probably would not have seen that otherwise (Snake, Kirby, Chief, Dante). Now if we can only get a Master Emerald division....

Admittedly, the reason why I don't like it is because it messes with comparative stats and the like.

8x8, just because you can work the bracket to make more intresting match-ups.

Oh and if someone who won wanted my to nominate Link, I'd tell them to shove it.

I will if I ever see it on sale for cheap again (I saw it the other day and had left my checks at home), though it'd still take alot of free time for me to play it...and given I'm a male-lead in a play now and tryin' to make decent grades again in college, I'm kinda short on time, heh.

I swear I wanna try it though...did you say awhile back it's availible for PC?
