creativename, maybe you could put up an in-depth explaination of lineraity and transitivity in the "X-Stats Explanation" section of your site. That way people could just link to it whenever the issue comes up and you wouldn't need to keep rewriting your explaination.

Seph's AC pic didn't look good at all, and that "dark Seph" doesn't look good either.

All in all though, Seph get better pics than Cloud.

Cloud's AC pics didn't do him justice at all, as they're all trailer quality.

On a related note, though plenty of people have their own version of the stats, creative is the one who eventually winds up making the stats that all of the casual visitors use. I doubt he'd adjust Samus over Mario, because creativename isn't stupid.

Though I do hope that creative doesn't wind up adjusting the Devil Division, because I don't find that one to be too bright of an idea either.

As fas as I can see, Samus(and maybe a few notable others? Meh. I can't remember.) is the only one that needs adjustment for the sake of the huge SFF. She should not be adjusted above Mario, though, at it makes no sense at all.

I have to hand it to Seph for holding out for so long. We all know he'll get killed later, but I hope he stays above 45%.

Anyway, here are the adjustments I think need to be made:

Samus - And since none of us will agree on where she belongs, I'd say to stick her smack in the middle of Mario and Crono and be done with the argument. Creative may use a constant Crono for that one, but I don't think Crono was constant this contest for the simple fact that I don't buy Mario jumping 15% because of a couple of DS/sports titles. Crono just made Mario look better than he truly is.

Yoshi - Assume a constant Laharl. What else can we do? Dunno what type of problem this could cause with Luigi, but it's not like it matters.

Ness - Just use whatever gives him his highest value (Auron through Tails, I believe?); he deserves it <_<

Pac Man - Use Spring 2005 Ocelot. I don't think Ocelot is as weak as the unadjusteds will say, and given that he had a match with Bowser not two months ago...



That's it. You don't need to adjust the Devil Division, and Zebes will fall into place after you adjust Samus.

Odd matches, huh? I can't think of any 'provably' wrong ones, though there's the potential for weirdness in the Mega Man/Yoshi/Pac-Man/Ocelot debacle, as well as touching upon Link/Mega Man SFF if that hasn't already been done.
