congrats to both of y'all. I'd say they're pretty good, since who knows if the ones above you are legit.

Sephiroth barely losing any ground at all with the afterschool vote? Damn, at this rate he could go back over 56% with the second night vote if he feels like it.

Summary: Sephiroth kicked Mario's ass, chopped it off, and then kicked it some more.

I think "if he feels like it" is the new way to describe Seph.

I must say, I am impressed. as impressed as I was last night.

Not going to happen, unfortunatly.

Or anyone even remotely close to the noble nine. -_-

HAHAHAHA no. Link will probably kick his ass even worse than what he's doing to Mario right now.

I think Cloud getting his ass kicked has made HM look for a silver lining.

SO TRUE. I think that's basically what all of the Cloud supporters are doing today. I'll admit this is a good win for Seph, but that doesn't stop the match from being as exciting as, say, Samus/Mario.

I wouldn't mind having an AFC in the Spring then have a Best. Game. Contest. II in the summer and switch back to character next summer.

Then let's have CJayC do just that, ditch the spring contest and make a game contest next summer.

Oh and Sephiroth will put up quite the fight against Link tomorrow, although I'm not expecting anything like a victory. Still, he won't be too far off from Cloud. Just you watch.

I know I'd definitely prefer alternating game/character contests every Summer. Less work for Ceej, and much better contests. Just think of how good 2005 would've been if we'd skipped 2004 and the Villains Contest...

So I was gone for a while.

What is the verdict for adjusting the stats?

How does the devil divison look?

Squall rSFF'D Vince or Squall got a little boost this year.

The AC factor doesnt seem to be logical, especially after today.

Better than the villain contest. There were only three strong characters there =/

Um, actually, today is pushing in the AC direction. If Link completely owns Seph tomorrow, it'll be pretty much a sure thing.

You left out Vincent rSFFing Crono, too... though I'm not really sure about that. Either way, I'm pretty sure there was nothing wrong with Vincent/Squall... if there was, Dante would be WAY too strong. Even adjusting gives us a very interesting boost for Dante, now imagine not touching them at all.

Sorry, I forgot Zelda.

Regardless, the Villains Contest had one unpredictable match. I don't think that a female contest will have an amazing upset like Kuja vs. Master Hand.

You guys should read Inviso's Female Contest Fanfiction. Its suprisingly not as horrible as her contest analyses. And it has tons of realistic upsets, and its very exciting.

And I still see that HM and Karma Hunter had nothing to say about the Cloud "day" vote that they were arguing with me over yesterday!

Probably because I was right. I said Cloud at the least would stall Link, which he did. Then he proceeded to get clobbered with the afterschool vote. Maybe you should pay more attention to the updater.

How is an AC boost looking good after yesterday and todays match?

Both AC characters are underpreforming.

I think I wouldnt want to touch it either.

Rikku and Yuna would both be respectable. Kairi would probably get in, Princess Peach would be a nice wild card, probably Daisy, too, for that matter (getting in, not being a wild card.) I don't think it would happen, but an All Female short contest wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Zelda, Aeris, Samus, Peach, Tifa, Rikku, Yuna, Sephiroth, and that's before the fighting game chicks. Eh, it's not great, but it could be worse.

Both AC characters are underpreforming.

How in the hell is Sephiroth underperforming and how did Cloud also underperform against a Link that had supposedly gotten some of that Nintendo boost love? Both of them exceeded expectations.

Cloud didn't underperform, but that's only if you thought he never had a shot to win in the first place. And considering he's Cloud, not having a shot to win in the first place is a method of underperforming in itself. Seph is not underperforming today, he's doing quite well.

Cloud lost by more than he did last year and Sep is doing 5% worse than his last Mario match. Even with a Nintendo boost, Both are doing worse than did last in the past.

The AC boost should be visible with Cloud and Seph, the same way it was with Vince... if it really exists.
