Just so everyone's aware in the past hour (Megaman's peak lead so far was at 2:50 ET, 1085), Sonic has taken off 136 votes. He'll have to do much better than that if he wants to get Megaman to 50/50, much less take the lead.

Over the last hour, Sonic received 51.05% of the vote and averaged 34 votes/15 minutes. At that rate, it will take him 6 hours and 45 minutes to take the lead (10:45 EST, 19:45 GameFAQs time).

The night vote usually starts around 18:00 GameFAQs time. Mega Man gained .5% on Yoshi, went even with Leon, and gained .1% on Conker. Sonic lost .7% on Tifa, .5% on Diablo, and .35% on Jin.

For all intents and purposes, we can say that Sonic cut off 100 votes in the last 30 minutes. This means an even match by the time the evening vote hits, and it's anyone game from there. I will say that if they're even come the evening vote, Mega has the edge. Sonic needs to flat-out have a good lead by then if he wants to be safe.
