Contest Stats and Discussion - Part 252

It's been wrecked by Cloud in 2003 and Samus in 2004. It seems whenever Sonic loses, he HAS to lose the day vote as well.

Can someone tell me again when the day vote starts exactly? People talk about the 1st and 2nd night votes and the day votes. This time period obviously doesn't belong in the night vote category.
From: transience | Posted: 9/16/2005 7:56:07 AM | Message Detail
both of them are considerably stronger than MM, though. I didn't think Sonic had much of a chance in the other two. MM and Sonic are near-equals.

speaking of, I'm not hearing any x-stats bashing today.

They are considerably stronger, yes, but the least Sonic could've done was gain something in percentage. He failed spectacularly.

It's gettin' close to the Frog/Liquid record; I really hope this match stays closer than that, and especially finish closer than that.

For the record though, isn't Cloud supposed to be really good with the day-vote anyways? If so, there's no shame in Sonic losing the day-vote to him then, especially since that was the year Cloud won.

Cloud's good by Square standards, yes. However, he's not supposed to be Sonic.

Sonic's just stalling him right now. it'll take more than five vote update wins for him to mount a comeback.

Smurf, I don't think Megaman is cheating, but Sonic can still take this anyway. a 300 vote lead is for from insurmountable.

No, no, then after Sonic begins to build a nice little lead of 300 or so for himself, he calls it in favor of Sonic, and it goes back and forth all day until Sonic wins by 3.

Hmm, biggest thing about the match I've notice since Sonic took the lead, when Sonic's votes aren't consistent, they're usually very poor & when Mega Man's aren't, they're very huge.
