Ah, I see. This was about the time Mega Man started to increase in percentage on his opponents again...though it was albeit very slowly for an hour or so. Sonic needs to capitalize NOW, or Mega may gain the advantage come the latter half of the day.

Holy crap, I didn't expect to wake up with Sonic in the lead. Seems like Mega had it at first, but Sonic quickly caught up, awesome.

Sonic going into the day vote with the lead, or even losing by a little, is a nice confidence boost. Here's to hoping he holds on. And only 3% less brackets had Crono in the Final 4 then the Elite 8. Hah!

And hell, the real pickup with the morning vote hasn't even begun yet. Sonic still has plenty of time to increase his lead.

Looking at last night, Sonic won a number of updates so I don't see where he's the one that has to make a lead or else he's done.

Well...actually, he is. Mega Man's worst time is nigh about over, and from here on he's going to be only increasing in strength.

Sonic's worst time was also during the night and he managed to win a number of updates. One could have said the exact same thing about him last night, but you were talking about how Mega Man had it wrapped up and you seem to have that same type of talk right now. There's simply nothing to suggest that Mega Man is going to become such a beast later on that Sonic wouldn't stand a chance. Mega Man may be stronger later, yes, but it's nothing that will be a major kill to Sonic.

It's better for him to capitalize while Mega's still weak,

We saw how that turned out. Mega Man didn't, so why Sonic needs to do it or else makes no sense.

Ding, ding! Instead of looking at like that, you've stuck with the idea that Sonic is the one who always needs to be doing this or that or else Mega Man's going to get him. Hell, after a 100 vote lead you said Mega Man had it locked up. Honestly, there's nothing here that Sonic himself needs to build up to compensate for later. It should be a good match the entire way through.
