I think this is only Crono's weakness, hell he underperformed to all hell against MC, why the hell not now? I actually think Vincent has a legitimate shot in this match, considering how horrid CT is with the day vote overall. This could still wind up as one of the most shocking upsets of all time, especially considering how Vincent was written off by most after his match was Squall.

Of course, still a few hours away from the day vote so we'll see if CT continues to live up to its rep again...or not.

This match could end up making Sonic look very good. I can't see Vincent that much stronger than Tifa if at all.

Looking back at MC, I'm inclined to think this is more Crono. Magus and Frog didn't exactly inspire confidence in me, either. The only read we have on Crono where he hasn't disappointed now was when he...performed to expectations based on Spring Kefka. Which may be overrated for all we know.

Besides...I can't see Squall (and the rest of the Devil Division) that high.

Brief apologies for my excessive Mario>Samus gloating a couple of topics ago.

Anyways, I just checked the updates topics and was somewhat shocked to see Bowser keeping it close and making a comeback. Snake was coasting when I left yesterday. Good to see he kept it close, for my money Bowser's got a great claim to #10 behind the still undefeated noble nine. At least it's looking that way, pesky Vincent's doing his best to keep this one interesting.

As for the rest of the tournament? Mario surely has Snake beaten, so that just leaves the other half. I'd say Mega Man's the favourite (well, I've always said he's the favourite, but still) right now. He should have the better of Sonic - Mega Man killed Yoshi by a margin that even I was surprised at, the same Yoshi that beat Luigi who wasn't disgraced against Tifa who didn't lose to Sonic by a massive margin. Don't know if anyone's worked out the likely result using that series of matches, but still, Sonic looks in trouble.

As for Crono (I'll say Crono, there's no way pesky Vincent beats either of Mega Man or Sonic, even if pesky Vincent does come back), there's doubts there. This isn't convincing at all right now, even taking into account a supposed European factor (which made a huge difference in CvM 3 - exactly how many copies did CT sell anyway, compared to the number of people that have played it on emulators?). Magus choking, Frog showing himself up to be overrated, Crono could easily be next.

Mario - Mega Man? Well I hope Mega Man could pull it off, but Mario has exceeded every expectation I had. Mario would be the favourite, definitely. But you just never know.
