I knew the match would never be inquestion despite what Bowser was doing during the day vote. Coming back from 2100 votes is hard and can only be done by people who have strong day votes or 2nd night votes, which Bowser is none.

Personally, I wouldn't take Ganondorf over Sonic. He did 3% worse against two common Blue Blur opponents (one of them merely a month or two apart). I'm still hoping for a Sonic win in a couple of days. Either way, I just want an instant classic in that match. It just has the feel of a match that should be that way.

I don't think Luigi beats Yoshi 60/40 (awesome as that would be), nor do I think Mega Man collected more SFF on Yoshi than Link did, so I think the winner is pretty clear cut. I'd love to see a close match, I just don't think it'll happen. I think Crono/Mega Man has more potential to be a barnburner that Mega Man/Sonic.

Ganon only doing 3% worse on Samus than Sonic did is pretty impressive, considering the possibility of a Samus boost/SFF.

Well, the only reason I'd consider Kirby a contender is because of how well he held up against Bowser, who I've always would've taken over Ganondorf without much debate.

Sonic deserves this match like no one before. I was looking out for my bracket when I said that I couldn't understand why people were doubting that Mega Man could take the match. Now that my bracket is shot, I'm pulling for Sonic harder than I ever have before!

I'm putting precious little faith in the stats next year and instead will try to pin down exactly which company did the best overall, as well as on GameFAQs, and gauge boosts/falls in that manner.

I'm of the opinion that Kirby overperformed on Bowser for whatever reason. I've been the biggest supporter of Kirby (and was the first to say Kirby might beat Squall), but even I don't think he's at 32-33%.

Heh, this is at least the third time I've argued for Bowser>Ganondorf while completely forgetting Twilight Princess. If Ganondorf looks great and gives another Wind Waker-esque performance, it's pretty much a moot point.

Thing is even if Kirby doesn't "deserve" that ranking, I still think he got it from "reverse SFFing Nintendo", which would make Ganondorf just as vulnerable. But I think Ganondorf's a bit easier to "SFF" and would be even moreso vulnerable.

I'm not basing ANYTHING off of Yoshi. We can't make any clear assumptions on Mega Man simply based off of that. Regardless of what you're saying about "Oh, Mega Man couldn't have done such and such." We just don't know.

If Samus didn't boost...I feel that would place Ganondorf too low. Ganondorf did get 54% on Auron...I can't see Auron being too far below 33% on BL. Not to mention that he flat out outperformed Bowser against Sephiroth. But, it's certainly possible that Auron is lower than what I think, and it makes more sense out of Kefka and Diablo (but not CATS).

I also can't take Mega Man on Yoshi versus Link on Yoshi at face value, if only because I don't think Link gets as much SFF against anyone but Ganondorf...mostly because he's so popular to begin with that there's not as many people to sway.
