Sonic/Megaman is the best of the lot, imo. Mario/Samus isn't bad...but it isn't that good either. Crono is a huge mess, snake/bowser is so...plain. And not having gotten the joke without it being explained...I still don't think it's that funny, or even necessary.

From what I can see, Vincent is going by name recognition alone, which might not be a good thing for him.

I wish Ceej would use an FF VII battle pic for him like he did for Tifa.

Snake's fugly pic rivals that of Solid ****, and he's on Bowser's turf no less...

But at least he's Snake, he should still perform normally even on name recognition alone.

Mario vs. Samus and Sonic vs. MM are okay.

I always hate the sprite round, while some of those pics are certainly nostalgic, they're just too fugly to look at by today's standards.

And some chars, like Vincent, doesn't even have a sprite that fans can recognize as him.
