I just love this match. Not only did Sonic completely destroyed Tifa when the dayvote came, but this looks like to be the most popular poll so far. (Solid Snake VS Zelda is the most popular right now, right?)

It isn't me telling you anything, it's Sonic's matches that say he's as strong as Samus. There's no way you can tell me it is NOT a possibility given the clear change in voters we've had over the past year. Sonic may not end up being that high, but he isn't going to significantly lower either. I think it has been rather evident that Sonic has increased from 2004, at least enough to acquire 37% on 2004 Link. Such a percentage would still have Tifa ranking in the near-elite range. He would have to be much closer to his 2004 value in order for Tifa to rank under that little area.

Everyone is always out for Snake and Sonic's blood against Non-Noble Niners. In 2003 people thought Ryu would beat Snake, and that Aeris/Zero would beat Sonic (the latter coming very close to happening). In 2004 people thought Ryu could beat Sonic, and that Frog could beat Snake (the latter coming sickeningly close to happening). And this year Tifa over Sonic and Bowser over Snake were being booked many a time.

One of the reasons I back Sonic so often is because he and Snake get treated so alike. = (

Yeah, but Tidus failed against Kirby, proving him weak. Sora didn't fail against Alucard. And his performance against Ryu H. They all lead to great strength and then...bam. I think.
