25% of the brackets had Vincent over Dante, I will be surprised if the prediction percentage is OVER 10% for Squall/Vincent.

Next two lowest were SSBM over Starcraft and Starcraft over Wind Waker in SpC2k4. They and Cloud > Sephiroth in 2k3 are the only matches to ever break 10% prediction percentage. Vincent might manage that though.

Here are some of the possible areas for these characters:

Based on a constant Squall, Vincent stands at 32.04% on Link, meaning he should get 39.23% on Crono. Dante stands at 29.47%, a decent increase based on DMC3. Knuckles stands at 29.30%, nearly 3% higher than he's ever been (makes Sonic look pretty good). Magus stands at 28.79%, around Kirby 2004. Terra stands at 16.79%, right around the area Cecil falls. Geno stands at 15.96%, around Laharl. Poor Kerrigan is at 13.45%, barely above Eggplant CATS.

Based on a constant Knuckles, Vincent stands at 29.22%, meaning he should get 35.78% on Crono. Squall stands at 28.93% on Link. Magus stands at 26.28%. Dante stands at 26.88%. Terra stands at 15.32%, barely above 2004 Lara Croft. Geno stands at 14.55% on Link, between Gordon Freeman and Terry Bogard. Poor Kerrigan goes to 12.27% on Link, below JC Denton.

To me, Squall being close to his 2003 value seems more reasonable. I don't think they're much lower or higher than that regardless.

With Vincent and Aeris looking closely comparable stats-wise, I think Tifa will fall in that same area as well. We'll see what Sonic does with it.

Oh, and if Tifa is at exactly 32% on Link, Luigi stands at 29.84% on BL, meaning he could possibly hit 30% depending on where she is.
