This is a dissapointing performance no matter how you slice it. Snake did better than this on Sora. Samus got 70% on the guy that beat MC and Mario did a little worse on Zero. Crono isin't showing the power to win the bracket at all.

sonic/megaman/crono/snake are looking to be the only non nintendo/FF7 superpowers of the contest. cause crono although square is not FF7 and therefore cannot keep up with the hyperpowers of link/cloud

He was overrated to all hell last year, just like Liquid Snake and Frog. Granted, Halo 2 probably helped him in avoiding a drop as embarrassing as the one Liquid and Frog endured, but 70% on Frog is still easily more impressive than 65% on Master Chief.

That 38.18% means Bowser was almost assuredly the bracket favorite, and probably by a fairly good margin. Pretty good in a division that seemed dangerously equal before the contest began, especially for a 3 seed.

by the way what is the expected demography of voters for MC? i feel that most gamefaqs users are about 16/17 therefore thats how we get thoudands of votes for older characters. but halo is rated 15 in england apparently therefore a 12 year old would think it cool to have it. so they come here and well vote for him. so i believe that most halo voters are under 13 but is it a good assumption?

cause i don't think MC appeals to older gamers like crono does

I predicted earlier that Crono would have much much less than 50% of the brackets behind him. Hell, 70% had MC to the sweet 16, and only 61% had Crono going the same distance. This will be beautifully unpleasant for all the crashed brackets this match will cause. Muahahaha.

I have a hard time seeing Magus being that much of a bracket favourite when Crono got 61% vs. Zidane, TV and Kefka. some support, yeah, but not enough to be the favourite.

I'd rank the bracket favourites Dante-Squall-Magus-Vincent.
