Last year. Sonic was about Mario level. If you like to believe it or not. He got 42% on Samus, mario lost to crono, he got weaker. The year before mario got 38 on sephiroth. Samus is only 2percentage or so below sephiroth. So sonic would get the 39-40 on sephiroth. This year, mario got a huge increase, as well as on nintendo. Mario would easily beat crono this year. Sonic got an increase as well. He was last year I say two percentage below crono, but with this years boost, he would be above crono. Stop saying he has no chance.

I always thought last year that it was more of people getting tired of seeing Mario/Crono thus siding with Crono to help him finally get him win. Nonetheless, whether that's right or wrong, I fully expected Mario to bounce back this year.

Sonic's % on BL according to Diablo: 39.8%

Crono's % on BL according to Vercetti: 40.25

Both were measured through Kefka so it's pretty fair.

Even if you take them as exact, Crono still has a slight advantage. But even so, when they're that close, we just know that they're "close"

And all of this talk about whether Knuckles or Master Chief is the day vote king wouldn't be resolved regardless. Knuckles would own him in the morning hours, and Master Chief would retaliate with the after school vote. They're dominant at two different times. That's not very good logic, because Samus is comfortably enough ahead of Crono, we know that much. But there's the possibility that Mario still needs rSFF on Samus, and pulls it. Crono wouldn't be facing the strongest character out of the two, and that's his only chance.
